Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s latest squeeze, actress Cheryl Hines, had been flaunting their relationship online in the weeks before his wife hanged herself.
And her posts show that she virtually hijacked the life that Mary Richardson Kennedy had lived.
It wasn’t just that she was dating Bobby Jr. and taking Mary’s place at his side at various Riverkeeper galas and events.
Hines also had struck up friendships with two of Mary’s best friends, Kerry Kennedy and Glenn Close, according to her tweets.
The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” blonde even tweeted about talking football with Mary and Bobby Jr.’s 11-year-old son, Aiden.
“Rabid, unhinged New England zealotry by 10-yr.-old Aidan Kennedy has nearly turned me into Pats fan,” Hines wrote Feb. 5.

She deleted the account around May 16 — the day Mary Kennedy hanged herself.
Throughout Hines’ Twitter tear, Mary was isolated in her Bedford mansion, drowning in sorrow, alcohol and debt.

Mary was embarrassed as her estranged husband carried on his high-profile romance with Hines, sources said.

Mary had been a close friend of “Fatal Attraction” star Glenn Close. They’d been so tight that Close sang at Mary’s funeral Saturday. But it was the 46-year-old Hines, not Mary, who accompanied Bobby Jr. to Close’s April 15 birthday celebration.
Kerry Kennedy — the person who had first introduced Mary to her brother — posted a picture of Close, Bobby Jr. and Hines arm-in-arm on Twitter.
Just the day before, Hines also tweeted about stopping at a local Westchester burger joint where Mary used to take her and Bobby’s kids.

I always knew that Joseph Kennedy, the Patriarch of the Kennedy clan, who paid for JFK’s access to the White House after his older brother died in the War—with Mayor Daley stacking the votes in Chicago and LBJ in Texas—was a Chicago mobster.
But even mobsters show respect, and have a sense of family honor. I guess the Kennedys never learned that lesson.

He ordered his low IQ and rebellious daughter Rosemary to be lobotomized and live the rest of her life as a houseplant, so her sexual acting out would never embarrass him
His wife Rose suffered the indignities of his cruelty like a good Irish Catholic wife, but the children were marked and so are their children. That is the real “curse” of the “golden” Kennedys. That their careless selfish amorality occasionally, randomly, destroys others who come in contact with them
Cheryl Hines is a stupid, vapid, empty headed liberal, but even she should think twice before getting involved with the Kennedys. What happens to the wives and girlfriends of this bunch of philandering, pill popping, drunken rapists? The women all end up addicted to substances or dead because they can’t deal with the moral reprobates they hook up with.
No more Kennedys in public office. Ever. For all time. Its time to retire this clan of parasites once and for all.

Did you read the book, the Garden of Beasts? It describes the prewar politicians all being a bunch of wealthy play boys, much like the Kennedys. I think that it was a pervasive mind-set among the political class and the Ivy League elite.
My husband’s brother in law’s father worked for the state dept at that time (along with John Kerry’s father) and I can tell you that the Kennedys were just typical of the political class. They were just more successful and attracted more successful, more famous women. But the pervasive mind-set was that women were theirs for the taking, the using and the abusing.
Women who get mixed up in the Kennedy Kartel rarely come to a good end. Is there any member of the Kennedy Klan that was\is not addicted to drugs or alcohol?
If that Rutgers kid can get 30 days in jail for contributing to the suicide of his gay roommate, surely Kennedy and his squeeze deserve no less.

A Kennedy go to jail? Surely you jest. Kennedys commit murder and rape without going to jail. Why would emotional duress account for anything.

Just as an aside, who in their right mind would want Larry David to give their eulogy?
Now that Bobby Jr. is a bachelor, Cheryl will soon be history.
I feel that sometimes God blesses such people on earth because He knows it is the only time in all eternity that He will be able to do so.
That is strange. But if you have to have Larry David there, he might actually get into less trouble reading out a pre-written speech than just sitting there being himself.
Best and most useful thing any Kennedy can do is decompose.
Keep in mind that these are the people who style themselves as “the Elites”.
This could make a good week’s worth of shows for Jerry Springer.

You answered your own question; “earthly wealth.” It’s what they sold their souls for: wealth and power.
I’m not expecting to see any of the Kennedys when I pass, or if I do, then I probably won’t have an enjoyable hereafter.
Where the Kennedy’s spend eternity isn’t my call.
The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree. Old RFK Sr and his POS brother JFK were just as low class as Jr. He learned it from a pro. Cheryl Hines isn’t much to brag about. Maybe she has a good personality. No wonder the poor woman hanged herself.
That is not only so true but was the inspiration for one of the best bits Seinfeld ever had in his stand-up openings for his show:
