The first thing the sales guy had to do was show me how to use the visitor pass to access the bathroom. Evidently, the employees have to scan their ID’s to get in the restroom, which tells me that HR is tracking their BR breaks.
Then I saw an officially posted “procedure” with the corresponding pic on “cubicle” presentation.
Finally, I was standing out in the parking lot enjoying a smoke and he came running out to tell me not to smoke. “it is a smoke free campus and you have to leave the property.”
He was a skinny little nerdy dork that I am sure was the target of much ridicule in high school. Heck, I wanted to give him a swirly right then, but I didn’t have my bathroom pass on me.....
The sales team was actually shocked when I laid out all three to them and they just responded that he must not have known that I was the buyer for 30% of their business...
To bad it is a niche commodity with no direct competitors.

a manager in another department scored a drafting chair for me - i helped his people and he wanted to thank me - so i raised the work surfaces in my cubicle to use the chair
that gave hr a heart attack - because i was non standard
my boss backed me and we had a blast laughing at their panic
Hopefully they took your picture and put an 8x10 of it in the HR goon's cubicle so he won't forget you...ever.
