kinda on this subject...about 15 years ago, I received a call from the local fair housing department telling me that they were considering opening a discrimination complaint/action against me for not renting to a prospective tenant (who was black - and had horrible credit and an eviction). They wanted me to provide documentation of every rent we had and every application we turned down. I told the person that this was silly and they I wanted to meet him at the building.

We met at the building. He was a white guy who was surprised to see I was not white. We proceeded to meet the manager of the building, who was Hispanic, and she took us to meet the person who she did rent to (instead of the complainant)....who was from Africa and a black as Manute Bol. Even the lefty fair housing guy started to laugh....admitting he was sorry for wasting my time.
