100 million people died directly or indirectly due to communism in the 20th century and it’s still around.
Smallpox was supposedly eradicated, too. Then we came to find out that intellectuals and scientists had carefully preserved some.
I still run into people that believe Keynesian economics is the only solution. They believe it to their core. No amount of fact will sway them. Just like their belief in global warming and that Al Gore actually won in 2000.
Dream on, it isn’t going to happen. Key phrase from the article: “how could anyone remotely intelligent”. They are not even remotely intelligent. Well, they may be somewhat intelligent but they live in a dream world where unicorns poop rainbows with stars in them.

I think what is happening is that liberalism is losing its legitimacy in more and more circles. it’s not dead. it’s just becoming a laughing stock for more and more people, hopefully a majority. Look at what’s happening in WIsconsin. A blue state is turning red.
Plus, Obama is having to lie that he is not a big spender in order to get ahead of the coming attacks that he is a spendthrift. This lie admits as an assumption that being a liberal spendthrift is a bad thing.
Actually, there was NOTHING ‘liberal’ about the so-called liberals.
They do not want liberty/freedom from government for anyone except themselves.
They loathe the US Constitution, limited government and the rule of law.
These so called liberals stole a great word, poisoned it and are presently destroying EVERYTHING that classical liberals like John Locke , Adam Smith, Milton Friedman etc, have created.
The folks are narcissists,deeply naive and crave authoritarian rule.....and they will morph like the virus they are.
Yep. It will morph into some other communist agenda/cause like it morphed into progressives and so on. I think it is a disease for which there seems to be no cure.
