Jeb Bush’s name keeps floating up in discussions about candidates to run on the ticket with Mitt Romney, despite Bush’s efforts to douse the talk.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says Bush would most help Romney.

“He’d be an outstanding pick. It’s up to Gov. Romney but if I had to recommend a single person it would be Jeb,” Graham told The Hill.

AGREED! South Carolina needs to fix this mistake in 2014!! The GOP-E speaks through Grahamnesty so that is the pick of the squishy moderates.......If anything would destroy morale and put Obama back in the White House it would be a bad pick like Jeb Bush

"If not for DeMint I would be ashamed of my state. Pansey Grahamnesty is our biggest humiliation since losing to Sherman."

We go down to Myrtle Beach every fall, and all of the people we encounter in SC are just good folks. I swear I can't imagine who keeps re-electing Twinkles.

If Romney takes Bush to be his running mate we shall know that he is just another McCain intentionally giving the presidency to Obama.

Whaddoyano, there’s still a Bush Floater in the GOP Toilet? Lindsey Graham must have been hanging around the rest rooms and discovered the floater.

If Romney picks Jeb Bush as a running mate, the campaign is over and Obama will win a second term easily. The current headline on Drudge is 50% of American households are on the government dole. A good portion of them won't vote to have their free Obamastash taken away (sure Obama votes) . About half of the remainder will NOT vote for another Bush no matter what!

With Bonehead and Cantor now saying they're not going after Obamacare in its entirety, picking it apart in sections doesn't really cut it! Basically we are all depending upon the Supreme Court to do the right thing, Politicians on both sides are corrupt, ignorant or oblivious to the Will of the People, and are kicking America and Americans to the curb.

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Romney does this (I don’t think he will), it’ll give Obama the platform to remind people why they elected him in the first place.

You go to the good coast—a little further South is a liberal stronghold called Charleston (the holy city where the wah tween da states began and the Ashley and Cooper Rivers join to create the Atlantic Ocean) where there is a murder of self-loathing white Leftists who along with the numerous slightly upcountry black folk around Orangeburg vote Democrat every time even if Satan himself had a “D” following his cursed name.

Much better than the other way around. For my part, when I hear “Leslie Nielsen” I think of “Leslie Uggams”, who just had a birthday yesterday.

“.......The destiny of our Republic is in the hands of We the People, not the GOP.............Right now, the biggest hope for our future lies in my home state of Wisconsin. As the Walker recall goes, so goes the country. And as usual, the Tea Party is working harder than anyone else.
*************************************************************
I agree that our future needs to be in the hands of We the People and not in those of the GOPe (I added the small letter ‘e’). I stopped doing ANYTHING for the RNC in 2008 when they spent a VERY significant amount of money in an attempt to defend the Maryland Congressman Wayne Gilchrest (who was ranked in 2008 as THE most liberal Republican in the House) against a primary challenge by a conservative named Andy Harris. That support of a RINO against another (but true conservative) Republican pissed me off big time. Gilchrest lost to Harris. For the support that the GOPe gave him, the ungrateful and resentful Gilcrest then turned around and spent the rest of the year badmouthing Harris & the Republican Party in general. He did everything he could to weaken Harris. Harris lost in the 2008 general election to the Democrat but came back in 2010 and defeated him. From the time of that 2008 primary to today I haven’t given the RNC (or other GOPe type organizations a penny). Anything I’ve donated has gone directly to the campaigns of worthy TRUE CONSERVATIVE candidates. Of course, never giving up, the RNC continues to bombard us with solicitations & phone calls despite our attempts to tell them they’re wasting their time.

Good luck in the Wisconsin recall. I spent a lot of time keying in petition data for True the Vote and, to the limited extent I could, donated a little to the recall campaigns of both Governor Walker & his Lieutenant Governor. Judging from the latest polling data I’ve seen from Wisconsin, you folks are doing a magnificent job in that election.

Romney needs to secure Florida and Jeb would do that as they like him there. Plus, Romney is personal friend of the elder Bushes, so I think Romney will consider Jeb. Would be stupid choice.

With Romney at the top of the ticket all those guys you named will lose.

Which is why, hopefully, any good conservative politician will stay far, far, FAR away from a Romney ticket. It will kill their career.

Another GOP-e beltway fossil with a tin ear.
