Wisconsin recall: DNC’s Debbie Wasserman Schultz sees no national impact if Democrats lose
Posted by Felicia Sonmez at 03:38 PM ET, 05/25/2012

The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee said Friday that if Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D) doesn’t prevail over Gov. Scott Walker (R) in next month’s Wisconsin recall election, there won’t be any ramifications for Democrats nationally.

“I think, honestly, there aren’t going to be any repercussions,” Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) said in a broad-ranging interview on C-SPAN’s “Newsmakers.”

“It’s an election that’s based in Wisconsin. It’s an election that I think is important nationally because Scott Walker is an example of how extreme the tea party has been when it comes to the policies that they have pushed the Republicans to adopt,” Wasserman Schultz said. “But I think it’ll be, at the end of the day, a Wisconsin-based election, and like I said, across the rest of the country and including in Wisconsin, President Obama is ahead.”

Don't kid yourself - the RATS are scared to death right now - and she, the one with the always difficult hair, maybe the reason why. Oh, yeah.

Democrats rush money to Wisconsin for Walker recall

We could hope that the liberal trash are this stupid but I suspect that she - and everyone else - knows exactly what the implications are.

This is just spin to keep the spirits up and the money flowing

I hope they pour a BILLION into this recall effort!

Technically, she's probably correct. Walker winning won't cause much in the way of national effect, in particular, changing the outcome of other elections.

OTOH, Walker winning in a blowout is a clear sign that the DEM message of "tax and spend our way into prosperity" isn't popular with the public.

There is never any implications when Democrats lose. That only happens when REPUBLICANS lose.

I disagree. Currently many Rep Gov are afraid to confront the unions. Walker winning now for the 3rd time in about a year will encourage these Gov to stand ans fight the greedy bastards knowing the majority of voters agree something has to be done.

I left this on their message board:

“For Chrissakes people, don’t just report this stuff – VIDEO these actions (Missouri tags) and flood YouTube with it. Keep shining lights on these roaches and make them run. Enough videos of this stuff might force the authorities to finally act. Maybe, maybe not, but make ‘em sweat anyway instead of just wringing our hands.”

I love that woman. I think the RNC should offer her 10 minutes to speak at the convention(not prime time). Offer her $1k to $10k based on the ‘crazy meter’ scores and judged by pundits. The crazier she is the more she makes. Lot’sa fun.

She’s actually insulting the voters of Wisconsin. If she thinks Walker is an extremist - and the majority of voters cast their ballot for Walker - then what does that make them, in her eyes?

I’m really beginning to believe that somewhere in the Republican ranks, there was a guy smart enough to infiltrate the Dem party and through slight of hand, guide DWS to positions of power.

The only other remote possibility for her current position is that Dems are even crazier than we think. And I doubt that they can be.

This is sure to please all the BIG UNION bosses.. To be told their massive spending and media agitation amount to a hill of beans.

Debbie had a target on her back from the beginning. Now it’s as big as a barn.

I’ll bet she goes before the DEM convention. Obama can’t stand her and he doesn’t want the convention coverage to turn into a Wasserman test.

The lefists always say the opposite of what they mean because they are engaging in propaganda and deception. They believe and know in their hearts, the defeat will rebound across the nation for Democrats and embolden their opponents everywhere!

Mayonnaise hair had to say this at this point because it’s exactly at the point they are in the greatest panic. This is a cry of desperation and despair from the head of the DNC.

It’s pure Schadenfreude for the Tea Party and all who believe in God, America, and freedom.
