Sounds like Newt did a good job and I will enjoy watching that later.

You can’t be lame and try to spin if you debate Newt. I do hope he takes a very active role in the campaign. He’s a valuable asset.

Thanks altura, it is directed at the liberal church. Some churches have been hijacked by the need to be “good” people by the world’s definition. That is where social justice has found a foothold and having churches focusing more on works than salvation.

Pray for America

Thanks for your faithful work, AB.

And to ALL our wonderful, brave veterans (my dear dad included) - thank you SO much for your service and protection.

God bless you and may He continue to bless America (and deliver us from the tyranny we face).

Thanks RG...good report.

The entire discussion had a background of Govt./public money investment/worth vs. private investment

In other words, the failed communist model vs the supremely successful American private-sector, free-market model.

Oh Bray, you hit it out of the park with this one. Best explanation I think I’ve ever read as to why libs are such miserable people (personally & to others).

It’s complicated. I’ve gone to this church for almost 40 years. As far as Sunday services are concerned, no liberal stance or slant is discernible.

It’s only if you delve into the political side or take classes from a liberal teacher that you see the dark side.

The Episcopal Church in Texas is quite divided. My own diocese is mostly conservative but beneath the surface, battles rage as to whether to stick with the national church or break away.

At this point, I’ve done everything in the church from Sunday School teaching to altar guild and so on.

I’ve done my time. All I want now is a good service on Sunday and people I love and these things are present in my church.

The priest is a really nice woman but she’s a feminist. We also have a more conservative male priest.

No church is perfect.

I guess I stay in the church for the same reason Fish stays in a blue state. It’s where we are.

“He’s not a sore loser and has moved on unlike so many Freepers here. “

Why do you have the need to start this crap? Unlike Mr. Newt you are totally graceless. I will be voting for Mr. Newt in the Texas primary this coming Tuesday.

exactly Rick.Hopefully, Rush and others will frame these arguments as they should be framed, commie vs capitalist and the verdict in Nov. will be a no brainer.

We need to counteract this phony claim of Obama’s that unemployment is improving under his rule.

It’s so obvious that it’s not, and they are using phony statistics to make their point.

Newt explained it well but we all need to understand and be able to explain it.

Unemployment is the worst it’s been in decades and it is obvious to anyone who is looking for a job.

Woo hoo. Texas will finally be able to vote this Tuesday.

We won’t have a voice in picking a nominee but there is an important senate nomination coming up. There are a couple of decent candidates, but I’ll probably go with the lieutenant governor. Perry and Huckabee recommend him.

What I gleaned from the showdown with O’Smelley and some of the other leftie “guests” I heard while spinning the dial today is that the Demoviks are still pushing the “Bain” talking point above all else—even though it is a proven flop.

They either think that if they push it long enough it will pay dividends — or just sheer inertia has taken over at this point.

I betcha that 75 percent of the general voting public either has no beef with Bain or, more likely, could care less and falls fully asleep whenever it is mentioned. (And we know who the other 25 percent are.)

“Bain” is a big loser but they just can’t stop themselves. It’s a war cry like Haliburton! or Cheney! It provides no more weaponry or manpower for their cause but they are a self-hypnotizing bunch. Lacking logic or rationality, the Left pathologically seeks riled-up states in which to advance its cause.

And the Great Manipulators like Comrades Obama or Clinton know exactly how to get them all lathered up.

I too am looking forward to the Republican senatorial contest this Tuesday. However I will be voting for Ted Cruz. The sitting Texas Lieutenant Governor is way too RINO for me. I am somewhat surprised that State Senator Dan Patrick is on the sidelines in this race. These are rumors that the Lieutenant Governor has a thin skin and is subtly advising Texas’ elected officials to either back him or they will not see any of their legislation make it to the Texas senate floor.
