Bruce Willis calls Republican Party nominee Mitt Romney an "embarrassment" in a new interview with Esquire magazine and says he doesn't care which side wins in November. "Yeah, Romney. He's just such a disappointment, an embarrassment," Willis told the magazine. "Chin up, hair up. He's just one of those guys, one of those guys who says he's going to change everything and he'll get in there, and they'll smile at him and introduce themselves: 'We're Congress, we make sure nothing changes,'" Willis went on. "He won't do it. He can't. Everybody wants to be Barack Obama. And what did he change?"

Oh. He’s an actor. Apparently a Republican actor. OK. I guess that’s cool. I don’t go to movies so I had no idea. I think the last flick I saw was Full Metal Jacket, which wasn’t too bad.

I’ll look him up. Is he any good?

He said in a previous interview that he “enthusiastically” voted for Obama. Republican, my patoot.

“we in Texas didn’t have a voice, our Primary is Tuesday... The East Coast has picked (AGAIN)”

***

Actually, conservatives everywhere had no voice. The primaries were rigged from the beginning.

I understand how Willis feels. This election should have been easy. All the Republican Party had to do is nominate a truly conservative candidate as a real alternative to Obama. Instead, they went with a watered down version of Obama. People feel they don’t have any real choice. The “I don’t care” attitude expressed by Willis could sink any effort to unseat Obama. It’s very possible we could be stuck with Obama for another four years...or longer if he succeeds in transforming this country into a dictatorship.

I would be quite surprised if he did such. Please provide a link. Bruce is quite Conservative. I can't imagine him voting for Obama.

I have to agree with his comments on Mitt. He knows clearly that Mitt is a Statist and will do absolutely nothing to turn our Republic around.

No, we had cheerleaders and everything here, so he is the people's choice.</sarcasm>

That means, either Bruce Willis is a moron, or he's renounced and moved to Singapore.

If he still wants a country he can call his own, he needs to help drag Etch across the finish line next November, along with enough Congress critters to make sure he etches the right sketch in 2013. There is no other option.

You're already paying the price and Romney is not involved in it. If you are that afraid of Romney, vote for Obama.

Bruce Willis got custody of Ashton Kutcher when Demi Moore filed for divorce.

Bruce Willis is OK on the big screen, but he should be invisible otherwise.

The link below is only to the magazine issue and not to the article, but I can provide you with all of the pertinent information since I have a copy. It was from this issue:

W Magazine July, 2009

"Bruce himself speaks in a markedly modulated voice, one so low in volume and pitch that at times it's hard to hear him. It's almost as if he's controlling his tendency to speak his mind -- something that, in the past, has led him to misrepresent his own views. Take, for example, the fact that much of America believes Bruce Willis to be one of the most conservative actors in Hollywood, second perhaps only to Mel Gibson. Though he did support George W. Bush in 2000 and attended the Republican National Convention in 1992, Bruce has spent multiple interviews trying to explain away or modify previous political delcarations -- like the time he told reporters that the U.S. should invade Colombia to end drug trafficking.

For the record, he says, he voted enthusiastically for Barack Obama in the last election, and his musings on politics the day we meet sound like those of a bona fide bleeding heart..."

Following that, there are quotes about his work promoting foster care and how he did that during George W. Bush's administration, and will continue to do the same during the current one.

<< As much as I agree...>>

As much as you agree with what, that Mitt Romney is “an embarrassment?”

Is this now the kind of world that we live in, where a successful businessman and a decent family man is an “embarrassment” just because we don’t agree with his politics?

How sad.

LOL, was that a joke?

Romney is a massive embarrassment, with his pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, anti-gun, anti-conservative beliefs.

>"Just Exactly who do you have in mind that is going to beat Obama?"

C'mon. Powdered Toast Man can beat Mr 0b0tt0.

Newt, Santorum, Cain, Ru Paul, Bachman, any one of them could mop the floor landslide.

The past and forthcoming s elections, are fixed. Neither candidate for either party are, or were article 2 eligible.

It aint coincidence. It is planned.

Wait till 0butth0 refuses to cede the office because Myths daddy was born in Mexico.

I am beginning to believe that the acting profession and the lifestyle it brings makes those in it numb to what is going on in the political scene. Instead of having the sensitivity that creative people should have, that sensitivity is lost and what replaces it is a mindless lockstep recitation of a political script—just what they do when they are faced with a movie script. I am sure any person, who is forced to act through a script with fifty takes to get a director’s idea of perfection, may be driven completely insane. There is enough evidence from the acting community that too many are not acting with a full deck even though they have all the material rewards necessary for happiness.
