[The terror militant Hamas group was elected by most Palestinian Arabs in Gaza].
The "activists" essential goal is helping Hamas' terror infrastructure kill Israelis, plus making sure Israel's image gets hurt by forcing Israeli humane's army to shoot, when confronted by Islamists attacking them.
One of such missions was 'The Flotilla,' the "aid" ship was organized by IHH a radical Islamic terror group (tied --among other things-- to a terror attack in Los Angeles) "activists" declared prior to that, that they are willing to die as "martyrs." They defied Israelis' orders entering its waters telling the Isrelis to "Go back to Auchwitz" and to "remember 911." ahead of confronting Israelis' checking operation, they were all into an ISLAMIC fascist mode calling "kill the Jews for allah," armed with knives, metal rods, metal chains, they even shot with live ammunition the Israeli security guys which came to check the boat for (a tactic Hamas usually uses) arms smuggling, the Flotilla mission was successful, Israelis killed the 9 attackers and an "outcry" (mostly) by Muslims around the world against "bad" Israelis came about.
Sure enough, when Israelis released the aid boat, the Palestinian leadership Hamas resfused the aid... showing again that it is never about "aid."
In about a week after the incident, Islamic Republic of Iran (who's president called for Israel to be "wiped off map") warned Israel that its 'Revolutionary Guards' is sending a "humanitarian" aid ship escorted with its army...
In 2011, the UN report exonerated Israel and justified the actions on the Flotilla as well as the blockade in Gaza as a whole. The report "upsets" Turkey.
With these "peaceful food supplies" the Islamic "activists" attacked Israeli heroic preoccupied security guards who are 24/7 concerned of terrorists coming in to massacre kids.
Prominent activists in the Yemeni flotilla delegation were three MPs from the Al-Islah party, an Islamist party that is close to the Muslim Brotherhood. One, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Hazmi, was photographed on the deck of the Mavi Marmara brandishing his large curved dagger.

Radio messages sent from the Turkish Gaza flotilla to the navy contained chilling anti-Semitic language, the IDF revealed on Friday when it released audio recordings of communications it had with the vessels.
"You are approaching an area which is under a naval blockade," a navy radio operator said in a message broadcast to the six protest ships.
"Shut up. Go back to Auschwitz," a male voice said in reply. The message was broadcast to the navy from one of the ships, the IDF confirmed on Saturday.
"We're helping the Arabs go against the US. Don't forget 9/11, guys," a man said later on during the radio exchange.

Yesterday evening on 4 June 2010, the IDF released an audio recording of a radio transmission between the Israeli Navy vessel and the Flotilla ships wherein unidentified flotilla passengers tell the Israeli Navy vessel to “shut up, go back to Auschwitz” and “we’re helping Arabs go against the US, don’t forget 9/11.” There have been questions regarding the authenticity of the recording as well as its attribution to a communication with the Mavi Marmara.http://idfspokesperson.com/2010/06/05/clarificationcorrection-regarding-audio-transmission-between-israeli-navy-and-flotilla-on-31-may-2010-posted-on-5-june-2010/So to clarify: the audio was edited down to cut out periods of silence over the radio as well as incomprehensible comments so as to make it easier for people to listen to the exchange. This transmission had originally cited the Mavi Marmara ship as being the source of these remarks, however, due to an open channel, the specific ship or ships in the “Freedom Flotilla” responding to the Israeli Navy could not be identified. During radio transmissions between Israeli Navy and the ships of the “Free Gaza” Flotilla on 31 May 2010, the Israeli Navy ship attempts to make contact with the ‘Defne Y’ on channel 1-6. Other ships from the flotilla respond on the channel, without identifying themselves. At some point during the radio exchange the Israeli Navy is told by one of the ships to “shut up, go back to Auschwitz” (2:05) and “don’t forget 9-11″ (5:42).

The release of the audio recording was another step taken by the IDF to solidify the claim that the passengers of the Mavi Marmara were determined to attack the soldiers who boarded the deck, and that the soldiers were acting in self defense.
According to early findings of a navy investigation, during Israel's takeover of the Turkish ship some passengers tried to take captive three navy commandos, who had lost consciousness as a result of the activists' blows.
After dozens of other commandos began searching the Mavi Marmara, the three soldiers regained consciousness and managed to join their comrades.

The IDF previously released footage of the Monday raid, which depicted the activists attacking soldiers with various weapons, including a large metal pole and other metal objects.

Two of the Turkish men shot dead during the Israeli commando raid on an aid flotilla heading for the Gaza strip were activists who wanted to be martyrs for their [ISLAM] faith.

Islamists under the control of IHH a Turkish pro-terrorist group closely linked to Hamas had ambushed, violently attacked and attempted to kill soldiers who had been led to believe they were dealing with nonviolent political activists. It was unquestionably a lynch atmosphere, with participants shrieking Islamic battle cries and expressing a willingness to martyr themselves in order to kill Jews.
IDF soldiers were shot with live ammunition, stabbed with knives, beaten with iron clubs and thrown off the boats. There is no question that they faced a life-threatening situation and had no other choice than to use weapons in self-defense. It is thus grotesque to relate to "proportionality" in the context of soldiers being beaten by a wild mob employing iron bars.

Israel Navy commandos last Monday killed nine activists in clashes on board the Turkish-flagged Mavi Marmara in a convoy trying to deliver aid to Gaza. The incident sparked international outrage, especially in Muslim countries and in Turkey, which threatened to cut its long-standing ties with Israel.
Israeli troops boarded another ship on Saturday and pro-Palestinian activists have promised more as they challenge the blockade imposed four years ago with the stated aim of stopping arms getting to Hamas.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would continue to stop ships reaching the shore and creating "an Iranian port in Gaza", a reference to Iran's support for Hamas.
