(Reuters) - President Barack Obama's administration called on Congress to do more to help the economy create jobs, with Labor Secretary Hilda Solis saying May's rise in the unemployment rate was unacceptable.

"Congress has to take some action because while we see the unemployment rate where it is, it's not acceptable," Solis told the CNBC network on Friday.

“Congress has to take some action because while we see the unemployment rate where it is, it’s not acceptable,” Solis told the CNBC network on Friday.

“Becuse I’m up for re-election,” added Obama.

I agree with Solis. But regrettably, it's too late for impeachment.

It is starting to get so stupid. When the job numbers were improving even a teensy-weensy bit it was because of the magnificence of Zero, now that they are dropping again it is the fault of three other people, Congress, Europe, and President Bush. What a retard and my apologizes to true retards for including this reject from the retards with them. Osama is in a class by himself (and pun intended related to public education).

Par for the course: claim credit for anything he can spin as good economic news, blame others for everything else.

Obama calls on Congress to take action but next week, he'll sign some environmental executive order that will inevitably kill thousands of jobs. Wash, rinse, repeat.

“Let me guess... this is Bush’s fault?”

***

Now it’s Congress’ fault.

Time for more stimulus.

No, apparently it’s Congress’s fault now — probably just the House though.

Porkulus was passed back in Feb. 2009. Porkulus was supposed to keep unemployment below 8%.

Since Obama and the Dems. passed Porkulus, nothing else should be necessary. Once Porkulus kicks in, there should be nothing to worry about.

Obama should be reminded as to what he claimed would happen with Porkulus, and be asked why we need some other actions taken.

LOL! When the unemployment rate was going down the Democrats were crowing about it and taking credit. Now that it is going back up it is the fault of congress.

Of course it’s “unacceptable”. He wants it to be higher so that he can get “the public” to press for more government entitlements.

zer0 should not just complain about these numbers, he should do something about it! Like, every month prior to November, make sure that more people leave the work force, thus reducing the denominator...

And Obama is dropping in the polls.

Maybe we can do another gay marriage week in the media, to change the subject? Put a picture of Obama on a magazine, and put a halo over his head. Let’s talk about all of that rather than the economy.

Or let’s talk about how Romney put the dog on top of his car. That should outrage enough people to convince them to vote for Obama.

Or, why don’t we get back to the war on women again? Republicans want to take away birth control. Only good Democrats are in favor of birth control.

Heck, let’s even express outrage about something Rush Limbaugh said. Let’s take it, blow it all out of proportion, take it out of context, and say that Romney and Republicans believe everything Rush Limbaugh says. Let’s scare everyone about talk radio, so that people will be scared and vote for Obama.
