Hillary Supporters Start Pushing For 2016 [The Curse That Never Ends!]

Hillary Supporters Start Pushing For 2016

Aaron Blake 06/04/2012

Those close to Hillary Clinton are starting to openly speculate that the secretary of state will run for president again in 2016.

The growing crew of speculators now includes three big ones: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), former Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell and former president Bill Clinton himself.

The question is whether this amounts to wishful thinking on behalf of Hillary backers still unsatisfied by (or bitter about) 2008, or an indication that she is actually considering another run for president. Clinton herself has shunned talk of another bid. She has said she won’t serve another term as secretary of state if President Obama is reelected and suggested that the first female president won’t be her.

“I would like to come back to India and just wander around without the streets being closed,” she said during a speech in India last month. “I just want to get back to taking some deep breaths, feeling that there are other ways I can continue to serve.”

Pelosi and Rendell have been the strongest in their advocacy. Both said in reports this weekend that they expect that Clinton will dust off her campaign for another go at it four years from now, when the secretary of state will turn 69 just days before Election Day.

“She’s our shot,” Pelosi told the San Francisco Chronicle. “Why wouldn’t she run? She’s a magnificent secretary of state.”

Added close Clinton confidante Rendell in his new book: “She is bone-tired. ... Still I believe that when she gets some rest and has a chance to reflect on what she wants, the challenges facing the country will be too great for her to resist and she will change her mind.”

And Bill Clinton himself seems to be pretty....

Judging from the photos I’ve seen of her lately, all I can say is — there is someone who has been ridden hard and put away wet....

This is good news.

We have Paul Ryan, Scott Walker, Rand Paul, Bobby Jindal, Mike Lee, Allen West, Marco Rubio, and a lot of other great, young up-and-coming conservative talent in the GOP.

The ‘Rats have nothing.

Correctamundo! That is one tired old woman. I know because I’m a tired old man of almost exactly the same age.

Is this the best the dummycrats can come up with? A liar, thief, perjurer, lezzy, possible accessory to murder, married to a rapist, sexual predator, and traitor.

Is this really all they can come up with?

From article: And she’s got the kind of résumé most presidential candidates would kill for...

ROFL! You just can't make this stuff up!

And oh, BTW, for anyone still scratching their head...

She's running.

NOW.

In 2012.

(That's what this article is really about.)

2016 election? They must be planning on an Obama loss. If Dear Leader wins a second term, he might have different plans.

Obamacare overturned.
Obama dejected, doesn't see any reason to carry on.
He resigns, recommends Hillary to take his place with Biden as VP.
Result, he can avoid the humiliation of an election and play even more golf.

Here’s how it is going down. Obama’s polling will show he is in big, big trouble... Hillary is his only out. He needs to unify and shore up his base, the gay marriage flip/flop proves it.

Obama will choose Hillary as VP, bring disenchanted Dems back into the fold & cast a new spell on a disillusioned Media. This move will be successful and they WILL WIN in Nov.

2016 rolls around and Hillary will run for President as part of the team that “turned things around”. Assuming after 8 years and a solid Republican Congress calling the shots and making the budget things do get better. She will be very difficult to beat in 2016.

After an Obama shellacking, the party is going to turn back to the DLC crowd. It will likely be good old Evan Bayh from Indiana, or Warner from Virginia....outside chance of Cuomo from NY if that state doesn’t tank.

I'm sure Obama will try to figure out how to stay beyond 8 years if he wins re-election, but other Democrats will want him to get out of the way so they can have a turn.

If Obama loses, he would be eligible to run again in 2016.

John Edwards' acquittal could be trouble for Hillary--now he can run in 2016.

Then there is always Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
