Posted on 06/05/2012 6:38:19 AM PDT by MNlurker
Didn't see an actual thread we could use for a central point for election information today.
Lets do this Wisconsin!!!
Oh, ATTA GIRL!!! Thank you!!
WI Recall Live Thread Ping!
“The slime pit that is Chicago will always negate the way the rest of the state votes.”
My Nlaws live in Decatur, so I drive down quite often. Last drive a radio station I was listening to had the main topic for over an hour of separating from Chicago.
Something along the lines of making Chicago it’s own state similar to D.C. - it was an interesting topic.
I do know that all down staters are basically beat and know that there’s nothing they can do to overcome Chicago. It’s really unfortunate.
What gave you away, the screams for the ice cream or broken cell phone?
Go, WI! Praying for your success all the way.
Reading these stories, but in this age of phone cams, not one pic, video or license #?
MILWAUKEE JOURNAL TWEET:
Milwaukee calls in extra poll workers amid heavy Wis. recall turnout.
Is your area pro-Walker?
Doubtful, they would most likely riot.
Prayers for Walker today. I hope that he makes it through this with a wide enough margin to not have a recount.
According to my source on the ground in Milwaukee who is well-connected, young, dynamic, and popular: This is not even going to be close. We should see a 60/40 split favoring Walker.
I love the sentiment but I’m sorry, I worked until a month ago in the grocery industry in the Quad Cities. This is an ENORMOUS welfare state. Every 4th person is on the government dole. I saw it every day and after 4 years couldn’t take it anymore. There is NO WAY that anything will change with SO MANY relying on the government of IL to take care of them.
The only thing that might work is a total economic collapse in the state whereby a major transformation happens. But the cesspool that is Chicago has been ruling the roost since the days of Capone.
Look what has to happen. You have to get rid of every Dem scum like Madigan, Durbin, Emmanuel, Quinn,,,, the list goes on.
I dunno, just seems like a hopeless proposition. I think it’s gonna get way worse before it ever gets better and I have 3 young sons to think about.
I’m out of here. Sometimes this summer. The dust of this hellhole will be on my heels.
ANOTHER TWEET, this time from “Wisconsin Politics”:
ELECTION: Milwaukee turnout high, wards running out of ballots
Here comes the fraud, and the “Extended Hours”, folks...
Broken cell phone = no evidence
That's how all we folks living outside the I-495 belt in Massachusetts feel about Boston!
That could be massive turnout OR 1000 union votes cast before the polls opened.
Retweet @GHessWSJ: Dane County Clerk Karen Peters says turnout could reach 80-88 percent. Says “turnout is just wild.”
Madison turnout @ 26%-that surpasses turnout for presidential election. (so far) It could be higher than 100% b/c new voters are registering
On Wisconsin, on Wisconsin, fight on for her fame
Fight on, Badgers, Fight, Fight, Fight
We'll win this FReepin' game!
Prayers and best wishes from Florida Freepers to our compadres in beautiful Wisconsin!
Yep and it happens every election. I do my duty and go vote in every election knowing it will do no good. But still, I do. In my area Dems run unopposed for a lot of offices. No shit! It’s ridiculous.
But if you take a look at the county by county map after nearly every election you see that most of the state is red save Chicago and burbs and E. St. Louis.
Notice anything in common with those two areas????
:: wards running out of ballots ::
Looks like things are going as planned...only a bit early.
If Walker loses all it will ultimately represent is that Dems are experts at cheating.
The liberal machine is a disgusting evil.

#283 in my ward. We have 6 wards, city of under 10K. I was there at 12:10. Not too busy when I got there. But, the ladies told me they had been so busy, they had not voted yet.
Well, could be, but those voter numbers are sequential and start with #1 in line. DePere is GOP country to boot, so union fraud would be tough to pull off there.
I'm no expert on WI politics but lots of reading and interpolation of data have me feeling confident that Walker wins, and wins easily - I think a 53/46 margin is not unlikely.
Vote early and often in Madison. It’s the Union way!
and very nearly every election looks exactly like that.
Commentary from the chipmunk burrow...
Lots of pro & con blab all over the landscape on the Freeper site. If there any Freeper who can demograph the state and tell us what turnout is in both Republican and Democrat strongholds throughout the state, please do so. That will give us folks a much better picture of what is really happening across the state. There are so many wild posts, no one can make heads or tails out of the blabber. Am also sure, many trolls posting on this site. Answer to Trolls, every Wisconsin Walker supporter, ignore anything and everything said, and.....get out there and vote for Scott Walker, etc. NOW!!!
But, of course, I hope you are right and Walker takes this in a landslide.
MT @sentaylor Just wrote the GAB requesting immediate investigation of the election crimes being reported http://fb.me/19taa8fue
@EPWisco Twitter talk says lines are shorter/nil around 11:30 am. Might have another spike at lunch. Thanks for being patient voters!
Note for November elections: we will need extra volunteers just to monitor social media rumors, liveblogs, etc. @millbot
Any dead Chicagoans seen at the polling places?
“...Long lines, partly because a SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF NEW VOTERS WERE REGISTERING AT THE POLLS.” jsonline.com/blogs
I assume this is in Milwaukee.
Wash me down with a Leine and I’ll be happy : )
Good Luck Scott Walker!
Yeah - I forgot about St. Clair County (Metro East St. Louis) also went for Quinn.
Did you know Durbin is from Springfield and was congressman from Central Ill before getting elected to the Senate. As a congressman he supported a constitutional amendment to nullify Roe v. Wade. Once elected to the Senate he turned on the people who got him there and basically said - Screw you - I can be #2 in the Senate.
So there you have it - another politician selling his soul for personal gain. Surprise!!!
Voted at 9:30 this am in Pell. Lake. It’s a small place near Lake Geneva. Lots of turn out for us. As we were returning home it was odd to see a large tour bus rolling down one of our little streets. Hmmmm. Could be for Lake Geneva though as it is a tourist trap. Strange to see anyhow, in little Pellet Lake.

Even though voter ID is the law, we were not allowed to show ID. In fact, the poll worker was yelling at anyone who tried to show their ID.

@EPWisco @Oryx2046 MT @Stephknows: Kluge School has no one telling ppl which ward line. @ front of wrong ward-booted to back. Ppl leaving.
Mine is split.
Area overperformed for Alberta Darling in last recall and Walker signs are everywhere.
When whill we know if the good guys have won?
Looks like a douche
A Class of ‘99 WI FReeper is reporting having withnessed serious voter fraud involving a charter bus, having his phone taken & broken, and having to leave his car at the polling place to avoid further intimidation.
What Happened on My Way to Vote Today
Does anyone know this FReeper?
“...tight end Jermichael Finley and wide receiver Tori Gurley tweeted their support Monday for the recall effort...”
Having seen Finley drop more than a fair share of balls in the last season, I think he ought to concentrate on his pass-catching skills instead of politics.
To paraphrase Laura Ingraham, “Just Shut Up and Catch the Ball”.
60/40 for Walker *in* Milwaukee? Or is that his prediction for statewide result?
Does Dilbert have a half brother?
