Saw this tweeted a few minutes ago.
Another sternly written memo or will something finally come out of this?
Looks like Issa got hold of some of the wiretap apps and is calling Holder out.
From the last paragraph: "With the wiretap applications in possession of the Committee, the Department can no longer push such information away from its political appointees. These appointees were responsible for approving the reckless tactics used during Fast and Furious. Because of the wiretap applications, we now know which senior Department officials made these serious mistakes. It is time for you to honor your commitment to Congress and the American people by holding these individuals accountable."

You did fine.
About the end of July it should be time for that Contmpt of Congress citation to start moving again. Let Holder sweat for another month. Then drop it on him.
Well I failed on the title of it.
Should just be “Latest Fast and Furious memo from Issa to Holder - 06/05/2012.”
Isn’t posted on any of the news sites so I had to make one up.

Since Holder knows that there are Republican holdouts that won’t allow a contempt of Congress citation to pass, Holder is under no obligation to comply with Issa.
Justice will be denied by about 7 House Republicans before it is denied by Eric Holder.
Tonight’s evening news will have a story about the unprecedented action of Congress in planting a mole in the Justice department and how it oversteps all bounds. Count on it. (Unless they just bury it)
Just found the PDF also referenced on Issa’s site, http://issa.house.gov/ .
Darrell Issa: SENIOR DOJ OFFICIALS KNEW ABOUT FAST & FURIOUS: New documents obtained by House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Republicans show that senior Justice Department officials in Washington, DC were given information about reckless tactics used in Operation Fast & Furious. Previously, the Justice Department had denied the involvement of senior officials in the failed operation.

Ya done good kid
BTTT
Are Lanny Breuer, Jason Weinstein and Kenneth Blanco going to be the “fall guys”.
Because of obvious interagency coordination we all know this goes directly to the top at 1600 Penn. Ave.
Hey kidd,
What holder and obammy need to fear is the next administration goes after these criminals.
Course I fully expect both to claim being lifelong moose limbs and to go live in saudi arabia without the mooch
I hope you are wrong, but I fear you are correct.
The Admin Moderator can fix that.
Maybe lurker can help with that...
Obama will pardon one and all before he leaves office (whenever that might be).
Maybe it’s still on the rinse cycle.
I still see “Latest Fast and Furious memo from Issa to Holder - 06/05/2012. Wiretap memos.rom Issa to Holder on” :(
” Since Holder knows that there are Republican holdouts that wont allow a contempt of Congress citation to pass, Holder is under no obligation to comply with Issa.

Probably correct. Figure Boehner was the instigator of the holdouts, so it wouldn’t look like it was him alone.
including himself.
I hope all this feet dragging has a positive outcome. November can’t come here soon enough for me.
I am getting old and senile — thought I read it as what it should be...
I don’t believe that it is feet-dragging anymore.
There are about 8 House Republicans who have NOT indicated that they would vote for a Contempt of Congress citation.
see: http://www.examiner.com/article/gop-backing-down-from-holder-contempt-resolution
“This is a perfect example of why Republicans in congress are held in such low regard. Rather than play hardball when they are in the right, they attempt to appear civil while the Democrats and their comrades in the news media paint them as unreasonable and harsh,” said Det. Snopes.
Republican holdouts on the House Oversight Committee:
Not committed:
Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) - plans to hold off making his decision until afinal draft is put forward
Rep. Frank Guinta (R-N.H.) - nocomment
Did not respond:
Rep. Todd Platts (R-Pa.)
Rep. Mike Turner (R-Ohio)
Rep. Connie Mack (R-Fla.)
Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.)
Rep. Patrick Meehan (R-Pa.)
The way things are going, he’s going to also have to include pardons for The Mooch & the Wee Wons plus Bo the dog.
Agree about November.
“Another sternly written memo or will something finally come out of this? ... ‘It is time for you to honor your commitment to Congress and the American people by holding these individuals accountable.’ “
Don’t know about you, but to me, calling upon them to “honor” a commitment sounds like a sternly written memo from somebody representing the state of Bendover.
Yep,
Can’t be called racist now can ya???
Course a corrupt p o s politician is just fine.
Probably true MissMagnolia,
I’m sort of perplexed as to why obammy hasn’t pardoned his ole buddy Rezko YET?
The good fairy showed up...
