Got news for you. Money matters. Regardless of how you feel about Romney, you should feel positive that the Repubs outraised Obama, which included his Hollywood love fests and coming out dinners.

Directly, or indirectly, it will have some impact in downstream races. Money counter-acts the despicable media's spin and lies.

I’m no Romney fan but with our limited choices, I’ll back him! This huge sum is indicative of a new enthusiasm from anyone who’s not a left wing looney to “get the louse out of the house” IMHO.

Don't think raising money will be an issue for the Republicans this year. We do need to work on the "passion" factor.

Can't afford another "flat" performance like we got from McCain or Dole.

Obozo keeps flying out to Californicator land to squeeze money out of the lefties and gay in your face homosexuals.

Even those groups are complaining about him using California and them as his personal ATM’s to raise money for his upcoming 2012 defeat.

My wife and I watched and laughed yesterday evening while watching the local Fox channel. A black lesbo was complaining about how her beloved Obozo was mistreating them and using them as an ATM to raise money. Of course she will continue to vote for him.

Anyone know who the last president was that didn’t spend tons of money to get elected?

The dems had many of us (myself included) convinced the Obama money machine was far and away going to blow out of the water anything the GOP could muster.

Happily, I can say I was wrong.

This has to be a culture shock moment for the heretofore pampered One.

Enough Slamming Romney. Buck up- he is our nominee and he is the one that is going to spank Obama. As bad as I hate his policies in MA, he is our guy at this time. It is Either Romney or Herr Obamamohamed. I choose Romney. He will not destroy our country. IE fast and Furious, Race baiting, telling the Russians to just hold on till after he is reelected then there will be more room to negotiate. Obama is the Target, not Romney. I am sorry but I am sick of Freepers taking their eyes off the goal. Get rid of Obama.

Where does the Obama campaign send your check? You are showing with that comment that you are no conservative and do not belong on FR. It has shown that large campaign contribution to the presidential campaign of a certain party always results in increasing the contribution to lower offices in that party. Not quit your campaigning for Obama and get going on fighting for conservative politicians and policies that promoted conservative principles where you can make an impact.

Otherwise DU ca always use new members.
