Back in the 'eighties I went to one of his concerts with some buddies. The first thing out of his mouth was some disparaging remark about how the entire audience was full of yuppies.

I wondered who else he thought could afford to buy the tickets?

I pretty much didn't bother listening to him after that.

We must have been at the same concert, after his first number, he said he couldn’t believe all the “yuppies” he was looking at and how he missed the 70’s. My friends and I literally stared at each other thinking, well I shouldn’t say. We left midway through the concert. And you’re right, we paid a lot of money for the tickets.
