Whether Mitt can beat Obozo will wait until November. At present, unless something totally unlooked for and unexpected occurs at the GOP convention, Mitt is the ONLY GOP candidate with ANY chance of beating Obozo.

What I’m tired of are people who have decided to choke on their principles, while actively participating in the usurpation by Obozo.

Allen is the son of conservative journalist and John Birch Society member Gary Allen.[4]

Some light is beginning to shine on the background of some people.

Honest question, not being a smartalec about it, but how many truly conservative candidates do you think we’ve had in the past 60 years?

I’m sure we can all agree on one, but beyond that? W was closely allied with Rove, who is public enemy #2 behind Romney around here to some, H.W certainly wasn’t a strict conservative, and I dont think you could say that Ford, Nixon or Ike were either. But yet most of us voted for which ever of them were running if we were of voting age, because the alternative was something like President McGovern, President Dukakis, or President Kerry.

Look, if voting for Romney would truly make you not able to sleep at night, then fine, dont vote for him. But you asked how you are all that different. To me, its different becuse you are ignoring history, that we have often had to vote for the least offensive to prevent calamity. How much further down the socialist road would we be now if McGovern or Kerry had gotten the national joystick? We’ve had 4 years of Obama and we have National healthcare within one or two judges’ votes of being law. One guy is saying he wouldn’t do this on a national level, the other guy is saying he will and HAS. The first guy may be a total liar. That is scary and a gamble. But the second guy is being truthful, and thats scarier.

Yes, and I didn’t like them. But I did it because it was better than the alternative. Well I’m done with that. That’s why we keep getting crap candidates because they don’t care they simply expect all of us to vote for them anyway.

Well not me not this time.

You’re right that there hasn’t been a true conservative in this country for a long time. However, NONE of our former republican presidents had a record as liberal as Mitt’s.

You guys are ALL missing the point. I am not interested in voting out Obama. I am not interested in voting FOR Romney. I am interested in letting MY VOTE represent MY VIEWS. It’s as simple as that.

I refuse to believe that abstaining from towing the party line is equivalent to “actively participating in the usurpation by Obozo”.

Here’s the bottom line. You want instant gratification and you’re willing to toss your conservative principals out the window to do so.

I am out to FIX this party... or start a new one, because anything besides conservatism is UNACCEPTABLE.

...or maybe you just don’t realize how bad of a mess this country is?

There is a candidate named Virgil Goode who stands on constitutional, God-honoring principals. I’ll stand with him and you can shove your RUDE opinions where the sun don’t shine!

“...but you are without hope that you can change things in the next two years.”

I’d rather have another shot at a conservative in 2016.

Read this post on a constitution party forum. The guy makes a good point
The Prohibition Party "spoiled" the Republicans in the presidential elections of 1884 and 1916. After it happened the second time, in 1916, the Republicans decided they were sick of losing presidential elections because of the Prohibition Party, and in 1917 they passed the prohibition amendment to the US Constitution. That amendment had been sitting in Congress in every session since 1875, and had never before made any headway. So sometimes "spoiling" is an effective technique for a minor party and its adherents to exert some power.

Romney’s no prize, I never supported him, but the silliness in equating the two (Bambi=Romney) is beyond mind boggling.

Obama doesn't have to lie as much.

I don't know whether the Republic will survive four years of Mittens.

I know for a fact the Republic will *not* survive four more years of Obama, in which case it truly won't matter how you plan to vote in 2016.

"True conservatives know that Obama has to go, and Romney is the path."

Save your Rah Rah crap for the other sheep. The only reason True Conservatives will vote for Romney is because there is no one else. Once again the GOPe shoved a RINO up our ass. Romney may help business in the short term, but if you think he is going to champion the US Constitution and social conservatism, and scale back the FedGov gone wild you are smoking crack.

Choosing Romney or Obama is like deciding whether to take a slow moving freight or high speed passenger train. Same destination...different arrival times.

I am with you on that, and very hopeful that will be the case. That is why a new third party is so important. The GOP, by then, will be a shell of itself. The takeaway from the last 20 years is that the GOP will not go conservative, even if its lifeblood depended on it.

Well, good luck with that! While you're at it, perhaps you should give serious consideration to changing your FR screen name. The current one belies your position.

Obama for all of them.

A proved case of worst and most destructive president ever. Romney's not even close.

And Bambi (and the entire far left) thanks you (and laughs at you) for your support.......
