Something else iv’e noticed... Perusing articles in my hometown paper (Houston Chronicle), i have only seen
scant few articles with Obamas name . First noticed this
a few months ago. After the initial thought , i started
looking for Obamas name... there would be maybe a whole week
before the name Obama would show in the online version.
Sept, 2008...
"Us Weekly goon gets torn up by [Fox News] Megyn Kelly"

[over their bogus story on Palin]:
....
Note: UsWeekly = UsMagazine.
These are the left-wing slime balls who ran the bogus article on Palin:

"US Weekly", on the other hand, is a terrific, hard-hitting must-see anti-Obama website:

LOL...you left out the *bottomless* baskets of steak fries. :) 18g FAT.

TomSrvo, You’re the first of several who refer to this as a ‘vanity’ thread. I don’t see it as any different than the myriad NewsBusters threads. How is this a ‘vanity?’
Before leaving the restaurant, the First Lady left a generous tip for the server....
Where did she get the money? Does she work?
Yes - I care. When the Mooch is telling all of us what WE need to eat & how to feed our kids. Every chance this creepy family has - they are loading up on what they call 'junk food & ice cream' for us & our kids.
The Mooch has wormed her way into a gig on Restaurants Impossible on the Food Network this Wednesday night.
I resent them pushing her agenda. We hear enough fron both of them hogging TV face time as it is, without infringing on programs that I like to watch.
I am totally sick of their socialist propaganda being supported by the media.
When it's our money, it's our business. And we can discuss the waste of money, etc, without bashing the kids.
Just as SeeBS-Viacom’s David Letterman show can crack jokes about Sarah Palin’s daughter getting knocked up by major league baseball players.
The media is partisan. Boycott the lot of them. Defunding is the only way to get this double standard to end.
BTTT
“The group dined on a variety of items, including chicken sandwiches, cheeseburgers with avocado and milkshakes.”
One and done for us! Over rated, and with this little event, they are a little out of my range politically as are Olive Garden, Red Lobster, and Home Depot!
No kidding, there was probably a pic in the article showing her chowing down on some fat greasy cheeseburgers like Slimer from Ghostbusters.
this trip to RR was at our expense.
You have the Secret Service protection details for the First Moocher, and the children.
That includes the advance party that goes in and secures the site, as well as a route recon of the primary and alternate routes taken by the motorcade. Then there is the local PD which would be involved, etc.
Top it off, it was more than likely paid by a government credit card.
This was a very appropriate event and there is no reason why the public shouldn’t know about it. You are absolutely correct in calling the news media subservient. This administration knows it’s in trouble with the public, so they want to bury every event when it’s not necessary. They are hiding much more than they need to and this feeds everone’s suspicions.
Excellent point.
Not expensive.
“Nobody cared when all the other presidents kids had parties.”
You’re right. The media only cares when Republican presidents’ kids had parties.
Republican governors’ kids, too.
“I dont blame them for doing a media blackout on this one.”
Trust the media, that’s the ticket.
Well, damnit! The MSM, as well as the phony president’s cronies won’t leave the children of conservatives alone!
Malia’s Mexico birthday bash wasn’t scrubbed.
