A Florida man who lost his $30,000 prosthetic leg while swimming last month will be reunited with his limb Monday after a shrimp boat captain caught it in the Gulf of Mexico.

Anybody can catch a leg with a net...if he’d have got it on a fly rod I would be impressed.

$30,000 for a leg? That must be one fancy leg.
$30,000 bucks for an artificial leg?
I'm in the wrong business, because I know with confidence I could build the same leg for a $100 - 200 bucks without the insurance mark-up.

Sure, he claims this thing belongs to him, but can he prove it? I don’t think he has a leg to stand on.

I’m glad he’s got his sea leg under him. Incidentally I may have lost a bale of Panama Red in case anyone finds one washed up on shore. Thanks in advance.
It certainly appears that Willingham Seafood went out on a limb to get a leg-up on the competition.

(Congrats to Ted Kennedy! He's been sober for two years now!!)
Hopefully it didn’t cost him an arm and a leg to get it back.

$30,000? Was it hand carved from the jawbone of a whale?
