See the above post - which seats do you think are most likely for GOP pickup? Any seats held by GOP now facing any serious challenges?

It has been documented by one of the conservative blog-media that the Unions spend 21 million.

But think about this... every reporter, camera man, editor, journalist, etc. is a member of the Communication Workers of America. Watching the local Mke news, it was pretty obvious how they were slanting the story. Another 10 million in in-kind donations.

The DNC executive committee looked far and wide for anybody stupid enough to accept the 2012 chairmanship—a political suicide mission.

Then someone said: “What about that dumb broad from Palm Beach with the big butt and big mouth? Debbie something. . .?”

Holperin is retiring. King (I think) won her seat in a Rep leaning district because the incumbent had a wife and a 25 year old girlfriend that he gave a job to. I think Hansen is the other really vulnerable one. Northeast WI went really strong for Walker.

There are no weak GOP seats. And when the new districts are in effect, Van Wyygard may run and win the new district which will be more heavily republican.

Democrats really lost big in 2010 allowing R’s to redistrict.

These dimwits are total idiots. If a person raises more money than their opponents that means, in most cases, that the person who raised more money was more popular to begin with. A fact totally missed, or purposely overlooked, by the the dimwits.

It wasn't how much money that was spent on the race,it was the fact that more money was raised by Walker and his crew, meaning more people wanted to vote for him.

That is one reason the MSM is always touting fund raising as a good thing, except in this case they aren't.

According the WI FReepers I’ve read on FR, redistricting is supposed to give the Republicans a two seat gain this election, that’s not counting any seats we might overturn.

Republicans called Wasserman Schultz’s remarks “damage control.”

Someone needs to tell Little Debbie that they have products, on the shampoo aisle, to “control damaged” hair.

No, no, no. The Legislature is DONE for the year. It makes no difference that the Dems “took over” the Senate. The Senate will not meet again until after the November election. Districts have been re-drawn, it it may be all different people by then.

Scott Walker, who enjoyed a 7-to-1 financial advantage over his challenger Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.

Did anyone hear the Libs/Dems scream when Obama bragged that he would raise $1 Billion for the ‘12 Campaign?

(Bet he doesn’t reach his $Billion goal. Enthusiasm among his ‘08 supporters has waned greatly. Even the “Obama Girl” is not supporting him this time.) See the Obama Girl thread by going to this link: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2893621/posts?page=26

I did the math on that. The number of the Seats lost from Blue States that went to Red States is 11 Seats. You can check it out by Googling How the 2010 Census effected the Electoral Vote. So............ check this out....

If you take (subtract) 11 votes from Lib/Dem States and give (add) then to the GOP/Conservative States, that is actually a net gain of 22. You have 11 apples; I have 11 apples. We’re even. But, I get 11 apples from you, I have 22 apples, you have none. Now it’s a -22 difference for you.

YA GOTTA LOVE THE CENSUS EVERY 10 YEARS. LONG LIVE CENSUS TAKERS.

None of the GOP seats are really in danger. Olson is a RINO, but he’ll win. Darling beat off a recall effort last year and is running unopposed.

One thing to remember, these are redistricted seats designed by the GOP caucus.

...in their bid to unseat Governor Scott Walker, who enjoyed a 7-to-1 financial advantage over his challenger Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.

nobody ever mentions the Wisc. law on recalls allowed Walker to raise unlimited funds for his defense....

There was an interesting article the other day about the WI recall in terms of spending. It was true that Walker spent a lot more. BUT Barrett raise something like 10 million more then he spent, where is the $$ Barrett?

Liberals enjoy being lied to. Indeed, they lie to themselves every day.

Bingo! "Progressives" have false assumptions about the nature of reality. They make bad decisions based on those false assumptions. They tell themselves lies so that they do not have to face reality.
