I meant to say Tuffy accused the incumbant White of moving to the district to run for office. I think White lives somewhere between Kountz and Hillister...don't know which county...but he has lived there several years and taught in Woodville.

My point was that Tuffy accused White of doing what he did...Ritter gave hinm $10,000 to relocate so they didn't have to run against each other. It was all orchestrated by Straus amd his enablers...which Ritter and Hamilton are two.

I can't stand Tuffy Hamilton!!!

Thanks.
Selected the State and flag is posted, but there was no option (in or out) shown for Texas pings. If the pings begin, I’ll cut the State and post a neat old flag in comments.

No, he’s not going to the convention as an at large delegate or at large alternate. He would have to be a guest of a delegate.

When you click the Texas flag from your Profile home page it takes you to the Texas page which has the above notice at the top. I leave it turned off so I don’t get the Texas message pings.

In what capacity was Joe Straus scheduled to go to the National Convention? You indicated he was stricken from the list of those going by some lady. If he wasn’t going then how was he stricken from the list?

He was supposed to be on the list of at large delegates. Also, she tried to strike the person nominated by my congressional district caucus from the at large list.

Absurd!!!!!!!!!! When you don't know what you're talking about, best to keep your dumb opinions to yourself.

Which part is absurd? The part where the GOP part has been co-opted or the part where GW (the guy who wanted to hear spanish on every American street) influenced the decision? Please let me know...!

Now your post really explains it all.....

It remains only to add that guys like Straus go well beyond the label "RiNO", which describes a shilly-shallying sort of vote-swapper and backfiller.

Straus is a Democrat in All But Label Only -- a DIABLO -- because he has been so proactive, and so "agile, mobile, and hostile" (as someone used to say about NFL linebackers), against conservative representatives in the Texas Lege.

Is he related to Bob Straus and Annette Straus, both big time and long time Democrats?

Strauss and his thug patrol went around and twisted arms to get him another term as speaker...Those that wavered a bit to long suffered as well in the redistricting...

Not only did my 68%-70% strong Republican precinct get put into another state rep district, they pretty much assured the incumbent state rep Ken Legler would not be re-elected when that district was pushed up more into a hispanic area of Houston...The elists have two hispanic guys vying it out, but since I do not have a dog in that fight, the hispanic “R’s” this time will probablyh lose in the next cycle =because the Dems wanted that district bad, and our elitist leadership was complicite in that take over...

Ken Legler passed away last week from a heart attack...He awas a great guy and a good friend and always available to talk shop with...

Now, from what I understand the serious challengers to Strauss, one of which I hope is Brian Hughes from up your way...He’s my Dad’s state rep and was considered in the last run, but he (Hughes) read the tea leaves right and just basically told the thugs to go pound sand and try to run him off...

This is what we have to look forward to in Texas, especially after the GOP elitist and leadership were complicite in the destruction of our primary process...

Strauss is going down, and I hope it is hard...So that the next set of RINO’s feels it like a swift boot in their azzes...

If 10% of what you say is true, then my vote goes with the ‘nominations lady’. Case closed!

You are forgiven for the doublepost, but not for supporting the liberal Harvard Trial Lawyer over the conservative businessman David Dewhurst.
