I saw some other commenters upthread remark about this Nixon thing being covered on some other Sunday shows, that I don’t get here in the swamps. This is not a coinky-dink so I agree with you. The Nixon thing was probably something silly Valerie Jarret came up with...”Hey, let’s get Woodward and Bernstein to revive the Nixon thing, get the American public’s mind on just how evil the Republicans can be, take the heat off of us and our perfect plan to leak stuff to make us look good.”

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. She wanted to throw a wrench into the public's consciousness.

PUBLIC: BO stinks.

JARRETT: Oh, I'll fix that. Let me get out my talking points:

JARRETT: Nixon was Republican. Nixon was evil. Watergate bad. Nixon bad. Republicans bad.

JARRETT: Here's another one. GW Bush: Republican. Bush most hated ex-President. Republicans bad.

This spooks the hell outta me and I’m not sure I buy that bit about this visit being all innocent.

Well it should.

It's nothing more than the educRAT thugs collaborating with the Janet Reno DHHS Nazis to take kids away from their parents! They then turn them over to the state for re-programming (by destroying their lives) and then proceed to crank even more money out of "the system".

Just like vampires, you have to invite them into your home before they can start their evil.

Every bit of the aforementioned...union thug bureaucRATs.

The worst part of CAFE standards is that they KILL PEOPLE. Current estimates are that about 3500 more highway deaths per year are caused bu the light weight cars required by CAFE standards. This number will skyrocket when the Obama 50+ mpg rules are actually in place.

Please! Not this early.

I just watched Mitch Daniels. He was not inspiring. He’s a good guy and all that, but there is more passion in a hand puppet.

The GOP-E loves Mitch.

I say he's so passive that he makes even GW Bush look aggressive.

Yuck.

FRiend, real conservatives on FR are not 'trolls'.
That said, Romney is almost 'Obama in a Mirror'.
Neither is a conservative; and both mislead.
From RomneyCARE to TARP to statism, they are very similar.
Obama was never a vulture corporatist.
And Seamus ran away rather than having been eaten.

It is how they do and us all are experts at discerning the current week’s talking points. Whatever their logic with this stupid Nixon thing, did they not think that the immediate response would be to point out that the man was gracious enough to resign as we remember Bill Clinton?

Here’s a smile folks....I always smirk and say my prognostication skills are as good as Dick Morris. Now I know Dick Morris is now on OUR side and all that but come on, he’s a nothing-burger tying to stay relevant.

Last week, on some political talk show or another, he says, I’m not making this up....that the reason Bill Clinton seemed to be trying to hurt Obamer with some of the things he said (later in the week Clinton walked it back but this discussion...O’Reilly and Morris was before) was because Bill Clinton was the only Democrat re-elected since...well I forget who but some president from many years ago. Morris said Clinton does not want Obamer to get re-elected so he can hang on to this statistic.

Isn’t that just the dumbest reason in the world? Obviously Bill Clinton wants to get his wife Hillary in there and I dunno, maybe, just maybe, he thinks Obamer is really bad for the country. Probably not but hardly that Clinton wants to hold the record nobody even knows about of being the only Dem. re-elected in yay many years.

Like I said, when I speculate politically, I’m right at least as often as Dick Morris and he’s a Fox consultant!

I never held or shot a gun in my life

I'd recommend you start doing it on a regular basis...at a range. Unless you're only planning on point blank gunfire.

So okay, your reputation proceeds you. And I give you space for your dislike of Romney, goodness none of us much wanted him but for now, no matter how many of these threads you try to hijack, he’s all we got.

But seriously, SERIOUSLY, are you so nuts that you are accusing Romney of too wanting to eat his dog?

Heh.

I take your suggestion seriously.

For now, I’m just getting used to the notion that I have a loaded gun in my house. Granddaughter came to visit last week and I fretted about it, probably needlessly.

But yes, I do, for now, consider that I’d likely use it should someone break into my house, that kind of thing.

But that gun range where I bought the gun was nice. I’m open to using it occasionally lest I forget all I learned.

The dims don't care. What's a few more dead when your ideology has killed 100 million people? They have a fetish to copy every euro fascist style. Coercing people into tonka toy size cars is just one part of their master plan to control every part of our lives.

HA...my son did that at about the same age....so...next month I had him write the checks for the Rent, Water Bill, Power Bill, Telephone Bill, etc....(I signed them). It was a great lesson.

If you count Obama jobs from day one, as he does with Bush, including his first 15 months, he has LOST a couple of million jobs.

This is really key stuff but it does not seem to get out!

Roll back about three years. Much of the stimulus went to keep teachers, cops and firefighters on the job until Obama’s policies had fixed the economy. Now, since Obama has failed to fix the economy, he wants another stimulus to keep teachers, cops and firefighters on the job until he fixes the economy. Are the American people really this stupid?

Yes Americans are that stupid and we will probably get yet another stimuli. The stock market seems to be factoring it in before our very eyes.

We have done a mediocre job here of getting the truth out. We have to get everything out better than we have been doing.

For example, I just watched Rhambo in the most convoluted interview I have ever seen try to justify why he still supports the regime even when we know they hate one another. Having a little homo/sissy fight with one another. Probably don't even frequent the same bath houses together any more.

Yet he gets away with trying to convince everyone he's still an obama guy solely for the benefit of advancing sociaslism/marxism throughout the country. And because its obviously the "Chicago Way." All govt. all the time. Never mind and don't ever discuss the cost.

Lookit, stop your braying and consider that for three little dollars, three bucks, you can get a chance to sit between Sarah Jessica Parker and Anna Wintour.

Come on! All of America wants this!

Like SJP says...Barack is de man who says you ought to be able to marry anyone you want. Right there you got all of America rooting for him.

And Anna Wintour....go on with your bad self. Everyone wants to sit next to the editor of Vogue, go on.

The WORST campaign ad ever, that silly thing with Wintour.

Heh.

Fishtalk: " So okay, your reputation proceeds you.
And I give you space for your dislike of Romney,
goodness none of us much wanted him but for now,
no matter how many of these threads you try to hijack,

First, Fishtalk, you've a English comprehension handicap it seems, right?
You mean 'precedes', but as a RomneyBOT and vulture corporatist
proceeds are on your mind, right?
Second, Mr. RomneyCARE is not the candidate as yet.
The GOP has a chance as yet. But not if Mr. RomneyCARE wins.
Third, the only hijackers are you RomneyBOTs who
are attempting to marginalize conservatives.
Fourth, I like Mr. RomneyCARE and defended him just last week.

Fishtalk: " But seriously, SERIOUSLY, are you so nuts
that you are accusing Romney of too wanting to eat his dog?"

No. It did not say that, supporting your English comprehension handicap.
It says Seamus ran away.
We don't think Mr. RomneyCARE ate a dog
but who knows, and you, Fishtalk, are now the first
to suggest that the Romney Team
might have eaten dogs, so perhaps we should consider this inside knowledge.

Fishtalk: " Like SJP says...Barack is de man who says you ought
to be able to marry anyone you want.
Right there you got all of America rooting for him."

If you really think you can lie to the American public
about this, you are screwing everyone.
It was none other than Mr. RomneyCARE, HIMSELF,
who imposed same sex marriage against the Mass. Constitution.
