The Occupy Wall Street movement was first proposed by the leftwing Canadian magazine, Adbusters. However, now even they are forced to admit the obvious about the failure of their creation which you can read their sad OWS obituary:
Burned out, out of money, out of ideas… seduced by salaries, comfy offices, book deals, old lefty cash and minor celebrity status, some of the most prominent early heroes of our leaderless uprising are losing the edge that catalyzed last year’s one thousand encampments. Bit by bit, Occupy’s first generation is succumbing to an insidious institutionalization and ossification that could be fatal to our young spiritual insurrection unless we leap over it right now. Putting our movement back on track will take nothing short of a revolution within Occupy.

I want everybody to kick up some noise! I want to hear some revolution out there, brothers, I want to hear a little revolution! Brothers and sisters, the time has come for each and every one of you to decide whether you are going to be the problem or you are going to be the solution! You must choose, brothers, you must choose! It takes five seconds, five seconds of decision, five seconds to realize your purpose here on the planet. It takes five seconds to realize that it's time to move! It's time to get down with it! Brothers, it's time to testify and I want to know are you ready to testify? Are you ready? |
I can guide them. Guide them to Mexico or Canada where they can give up their U.S. citizenship. That will teach the 1% a thing or two.
Forgive me, but what "intellectual basis"?
Now, THAT is a business plan.
OWS are the twelve-year olds who first thought a tree house was a cool thing but now the appeal of it has worn off.
Exactly. Why would a wannabe senator, let alone an "elitist" law "professor", and I'll assume an officer of the court, proudly claim to have *anything* to do with such law breaking anarchists?
The OWS failed because sooner or later, everyone is offended by the smell of people who never take a bath.
“We need guidance.”
LOL.
Finally getting what they deserve.
If they try a comeback I hope the cities are not a lenient.
Personally, I think they just got bored.
Their 15 minutes of fame has worn off and the tarnish of the struggling economy is back at the fore.
Old news.
HuffPo (surprisingly skeptical about Warren) quoted her:
Warren also said that she supported the Occupy Wall Street
protests. "I created much of the intellectual foundation for what
they do," she added, referring to her academic research on
consumer debt.
OWs failed because even most Dems and only semi-nuts libs could see that their whole premise, 1% control all the wealth, was patently absurd. When many Americans not in the “1%” have two or three cars, five + hd tv sets, freezers, boats, riding mowers, etc. and live in multi-room large homes with three car garages, it didn’t bode well for the OWsies to declare that the 1% had all the dough. Pictures of the dopes defecating on cop cars didn’t help much either. A lot of the OWsies looked like they had fleas and communicable diseases. Not a pretty picture.
Occu-poopers - Good riddance.
No, send them to the tropical socialist workers’ paradise south of Key West. Or maybe to Norkland, where they can appreciate the cuisine of bark.
There’s an idea. We can guide them to a socialist paradise where they will be appreciated. LOL
One picture is worth a million words for the American left.
The term ‘Flash Encampment’ seems oxymoronic.
So, to summarize, the commie leaders stole all the cash and assets and then abandoned the ignorant peasants .... mmmm, sounds familiar .... wonder where I’ve heard that before?
