CBC Staff: Opposition to Obama is Racist
Beltway Confidential ^ | June 11, 2012 | Joel Gehrke

Angela Rye, Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus, argued that President Obama has struggled during his first term due to racially-motivated opposition from conservatives who dislike having a black president.

"This is probably the toughest presidential term in my lifetime," Rye said during CSPAN's Q&A yesterday. "I think that a lot of what the president has experienced is because he's black. You know, whether it's questioning his intellect or whether or not he's Ivy League. It's always either he's not educated enough or he's too educated; or he's too black or he's not black enough; he's too Christian or not Christian enough. There are all these things where he has to walk this very fine line to even be successful."

She said that "a lot" of conservative opposition is racially-charged, citing the use of the word "cool" in an attack ad launched by Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS superPAC. "There's an ad, talking about [how] the president is too cool, [asking] is he too cool? And there's this music that reminds me of, you know, some of the blaxploitation films from the 70s playing in the background, him with his sunglasses," Rye said. "And to me it was just very racially-charged. They weren't asking if Bush was too cool, but, yet, people say that that's the number one person they'd love to have a beer with. So, if that's not cool I dont know what is. Even 'cool,' the term 'cool,' could in some ways be deemed racial [in this instance]."

Rye said "I don't know" when asked if black enthusiasm for Obama might be lower than in 2008, but added that the Democrats have to explain how voter ID laws are racist to help motivate black voters.

To be more specific, the left defines as racist “anything the left disagrees with”

Constantly playing the race card will not turn out well for you.

They should pay attention to the story of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". What will they do when a majority of Americans no longer care about anti-black racism?

Obama is 'black' ? Who even knew ?

If you are blind, and you don't like Obama, are you still racist ?

Call me when there’s a Congressional White Caucus.

Call (or text) me when there's a Congressional American Caucus.

And if Hillary Clinton were president, it would be because she's a woman.

I’ve heard uniformed civic leaders refer to him as “that n*gger.”

I thought that Michelle and Valerie Jarret were the naggers.

I will remind you that when Osambo’s presidential campaign took off in 2008, the American Pope Jesse Jackson declared that the “nizzle” “isn’t one of us!”, which was and continues to be correct, in more ways than what he meant then, but what he meant at the time was that the boy isn’t a homie, like for example Jesse hisself, or some Trayvon.

LOL...they must be talking about their boy Clinton. He's the one who's leading the charge against obama and who thinks obama's only fit for fetching him drinks.

The left is setting the stage towards creating an environment where being dissatisfied with Obama's presidency is tantamount to 'being racist'!

Setting the stage? They've been calling us racist ever since the day after the election. Who cares? We're going to purge DC in November and I don't care who calls it racist.

What will be fun is laughing in the faces of those who say that the election results are “racist” because they lost so big.

“White guilt”...He cannot possibly win without it.

He may not win with it. His kissing up to the Gay lobby has turned off a lot of black folk who may not vote for himas a result.

IMO the last few adults of the Democratic party wish they could muzzle the idiots like the CBC. Because if blacks become a special issue for the election this country will vote them off the island first tribal council, along with the Kenyan village idiot.

>>>>>What’s really racist is 97 or 98% of black people voting for someone solely because they are black! Now that’s racist!

Never could figure that out but I wasn’t gonna bring that up and get hollered at...nor branded :)

The friends that I have who are Black, Hispanic, Asian, Am. Indian, etc. etc., will be shocked to discover that I am a racist.

Calling those against obama racists is all they have. And I, for one, am getting sick of it.

I went to the VA this morning. Took my black nurse some tomatoes from my garden. She’s one of the most caring nurses I’ve met in a long time. We always hug each other when I leave.

Now, go back to 1973 at a small junior college in the South. There was a school dance and as my date and I were walking in a guy made a racist remark about the BLACK Student Council President. So, my wife and I sat down at the Student Council President’s table and I immediately danced with his BLACK wife. This pissed off the racist and I don’t think we ever spoke to each other again.

The racist was a brother-in-law to someone I know. And since I’m against obama that “someone I know” calls me a racist.

Barry Obama and his wife are more racist than anyone certainly among the people I know. Both have chips on their shoulders; both are anti-American New Party people; quick to blame others as in "stupid Boston police..." or "...typical white woman..." or "..afraid to mention my white mother..."

Not to mention how thoroughly Socialist/Marxist they are...Obama is as his wife stated, '..fundamentally changing America.." Anyone who read his books understands his obsession with "who am I" and is distrust of "Democracy" and his disdain for all capitalistic ways. Obama is half-American and a Full Radical Community Organizer....community organizer is code for Communist. And that's a fact!

NO TO OBAMA IN 2013

NO TO COMMUNISM/SOCIALISM FOR USA

Now, this is just another reason not to re-elect Obama - here’s just no winner over Blacks - they cannot sort out policy differences from racism - how very, very strange.

Racist: the most over used word these days.

Calling me racist has the same effect (NONE!) as calling me baldy, which I am, or lefty, which I also am.

Why is there no White Caucus? Hispanic Caucus? Queer Caucus? Female Caucus? How utterly stupid is this?

“Little do blacks know that even if Obama were white, he’d still be considered by many as having embarked on the willful destruction of the America.”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Actually the percentage who believe that would be MUCH HIGHER if he were white! Always remember that he is NOT BLACK, he is multi-racial and merely identifies as black, he could as easily claim to be white as he claims to be black. Anyway, if he were really white almost no one would believe that he is NOT engaged in the willful destruction of the United States of America. If he were a white Republican doing the same things 99 percent of black America would be screaming that he is deliberately destroying the country. Instead of an overwhelming majority of their vote he would be getting two percent of the votes of black America IF HE WERE THE SAME PERSON DOING THE SAME THINGS BUT AS A WHITE REPUBLICAN!!
