Milbank buried the lede: "In Washington, there is a creeping sense that the bottom has fallen out and that there may be no second term. Privately, senior Obama advisers say they are no longer expecting much economic improvement before the election."

NOTE: The headline at The Post has been changed from the original "Car Wreck..." to "Pileup at the White House."

You know how there are so many sports fans that only tune in for the World Series or the NBA Finals or the US Open?

I have a feeling that the electorate is sort of that way vis a vis presidential politics.

While we at FR are like the sports junkies that follow every preseason game, every minor league transaction, much of the electorate is more like the “tune in for the World Series” set.

While we at FR have known since day 1 what a disaster Hussein is and was, it’s like the rest of the country is just now tuning in and finally figuring it out.

The guy has been a disaster all along but it’s only now that the country has stopped watching American Idol and Dancing with Stars to look around and see what’s what.

To the “administration” it seems like they’re having a bad month - when actually it’s just a function of attention finally being paid.

As bad as it might be for Obama now, imagine how bad it seemed for Lincoln in early June 1864.

Didn’t stop Zero from Golfing.

He didn’t have to comment on Fast and Furious.

He didn’t have to respond to any questions (in any meaningful manner) about Security Leaks

I’m just a casual observer. (”Reporters need to do their job’s”) or so says the WH Spokesperson.

I can’t wait till they do, so I observe

November will tell us if the critical mass of fools has been reached, and if we’ll become Argentina, the fourth biggest economy on the planet before Peron, since and now a Third World basket case incapable of overcoming the peronist disaster, despite the military coups, multiple reforms, revolts, and so on.

Sounds like WaPo wants us to feel sorry for poor Obama, who keeps getting dealt a tough hand. This article is careful to not blame him for anything... it just lists the problems on his plate. Don’t be fooled.

Anybody remember Carter’s last year in the White House? Everything was going wrong for him; double digit interest rates, American hostages in Iran, Soviets Invasion of Afghanistan, US Boycott of the Olympics, etc. What did ol Jimmy do? He put himself under house arrest and refused to leave the White House? Did him a lot of good didn’t it? I would like to see Obama go on a continuous vacation and take the family with him. No matter how much it cost it would be worth it if he couldn’t continue to damage the economy and spend money that isn’t there. Even if he went and played golf everyday he would be distracted from doing more damage to the country.

Pile up is more like it!

Karma is a bitch.

I hope that Sheriff Joe's boys find out that his Hawaii Birth Certificate is a complex cover-up and the main stream media finally decides to run with it.

"Car Wreck at the White House ("Creeping sense that the bottom has fallen out...no second term")"

I consider it more like a Train Wreck. Barrack Hussein Obama Dada is absolutely the most offensive President that this country has ever suffered.

I’ve been saying since January that Zero might bow out for Hillary! All the mediot indications continue to reinforce that impression.

No doubt it had already been changed once by then from

"Train Wreck at the White House"

Could it get any worse?

Indeed. The Bozo in Chief could win a second term. That's the bottom falling out.

Interesting that this is coming from Dana Milbank, one of the nastiest Bush-haters in the media when GWB was President. He is on MSNBC a lot, I think (I don't watch any of their programs, other than an occasional snippet of "Morning Joe" when FNC is showing commercials, but sometimes see his mug while flipping through channels).

Obama probably still thinks the media will pull it out for him...or he will come up with an October Surprise that will change the trajectory.

“Can it get any worse”

? Yes it can always get worse as we saw with obama compared to george w bush (miss me yet). It can even get worse than obama believe it or not. The fact that obama could be reelected after all this is mind boggling to me. We have a dangerously fickle and ignorant population and anything is possible.
