Angry mothers brawl at L.A. pre-school graduation [VIDEO]

LOS ANGELES – We’ve always heard that life in California is a bit crazier than most Americans can imagine.

But this is ridiculous.

A disturbing video has surfaced showing mothers brawling with each other at a recent pre-school graduation in Los Angeles. Children can be heard screaming as angry moms push and shove each other.

It’s a pathetic display of parenting and a miserable example for young kids.

The anonymous person who shot and posted the video indicated that the video originates from Weemes Elementary school in Los Angeles. She wrote:

“This all started because my son’s teacher was so unorganized. Basically because of budget issues all the kids had to share a cap and gown for pictures. One of the moms in the video was basically taking over and the other one didn’t like it and told her something about it. The sad part was that there was an older lady that got pushed and she actually hit her head on a bookshelf and I rushed to help her but when this other mom rushed in to help us the angry women actually attacked the other mom.”

We sent an email to school administrators seeking an explanation for this madness. It was not returned.

Perhaps that’s because there was nothing out of the ordinary about this particular brawl in Los Angeles. School officials might be wondering why we’re even interested.

What a disgusting display. Even the slightest hint of "disrespect" justifies a beat down in this thug culture. I honestly feel bad for the kids that had to view this spectacle. Of course they blame "budget issues" for this melee instead of their own selfish, juvenile entitlement attitude.

Sharing a gown is bad enough, but the CAP?!?!

Not enough lice these days?

“Graduation” from PRE-school?!

Too many “graduations”, ESPECIALLY if they have “budget issues”.

You can take the thug out of the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto out of the thug.

graduation - cap and gown - kindergarten - really?
Why not just a little ceremony with cookies and juice?

I remember when our kids’ teachers would have them make their own graduation caps out of poster board or paper. I guess that would be asking too much of the teacher. I agree with the over abundance of “graduations.” It’s actually insulting if you think about it; celebrating leaving pre-school or kindergarten like it’s the highest achievement these kids will ever reach.

Well that may be the only graduation most of those kids have considering the intelligence of their moms.

Budget issues? Seriously? When school budgets get cut, the job is always to cut the most noticeable thing so that the public then says, ok, you can have more money. When businesses have budget cuts, they cut the least important stuff. When governments get budget cuts, they cut the most visible stuff.
