Poll: Obama leads Romney in Pa.
June 12, 2012
President Obama holds a six-point lead over Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in Pennsylvania, built on advantages among women and independents, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday.
Mr. Obama leads Mr. Romney 46 percent to 40 percent, down from an eight-point margin a month ago in the same survey. The president leads among women 51 percent to 36 percent, and among independents 43 percent to 35 percent.

You should be lucky to still have electricity....
When Mitt holds a rally, thousands attend. When Obamass holds a rally they almost have to pay people to attend. Polls are BS.
The state with to many brain dead hill billies and bed bugs...
Especially Quinnipiac University polls during presidential years.
From June 5 - 10, 2012 Quinnipiac University surveyed 997 registered voters in Pennsylvania with a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percentage points.
More proof that “you can’t fix stupid”.
This sucks.
Obama leads in Philadelphia and gets clobbered most everywhere else, but it is good enough to take the State.
Maybe we can give Philadelphia to New Jersey?
4 years this nightmare and more than 1/2 the country still loves this guy. We kid ourselves if we think otherwise. He has an almost cult following. If after all he has done, any Republican isn’t beating him, then they never will.
You should be lucky to still have electricity....
You should be lucky to still have [incandescent] lights.
Listen the same was said when Palin spoke last election round and look what happened.
Old, Piss,Poor Polling.
Q polls are crap. And Registered voters.
One strongly suspects that this “poll” is bullsh*t.
The future for the hard worjking, taxpaying, bitter clingers in Pennsylvania and many other places is out of their hands.
They are outnumbered by the millions of bums holed up in the big cities and living off the extortion and wealth redistribution of politicians who are mostly bums themselves.
Obama is the worst of the worse and has brought the bum-grifter-culture to new highs (lows?) but he is not alone.
Politicians in both parties are guilty.
Every election the good people look at the bums in office and say “Never again”.
And every election we are outnumbered by the hordes of bums who elect another bum to office.
Not only PA, but Rasmussen announced Obama leads Romney by 8 in MI. Looks like those other hopeful results there were just a mirage. Amazing, after his attempts to permanently damage this bation`s economy, the pandering to evert liberal interest group under the sun, the intentional leaks of classified data, Fast and Furious, etc...
At this rate, watch for Obama to jump to a double-digit lead across the country now that he.. by himself while circumventing Congress... has given amnesty to nearly a million illegals. Apparent the dimwitted electorate thinks he`s doing great things.
What is wrong with people. Honestly how can anyone still support this dictator.
bation`s = nation`s
damned fat fingers.
Quinnipiac is holding water for zero. The coal miners families, the oil men, fraccer’s and all are NOT going to vote for him.
Liberalism is a mental defect. Those who continue to help Obama by slamming Mitt at every turn suffer a similar defect.
"to many" and you have the brass to make fun of our brains?
This tobacco chewen, gun toten, Bible thumpen Pennsylvania hillbilly, would be glad to get your scrawny ass into one of our hills and feed it to the bed bugs.
Dumbdog 666.
They aren’t “crap” and we cannot get into the 2006-2008 habit of dismissing polls we don’t like. That said, this isn’t bad, because it’s “registered” not likely voters, meaning it’s really 4 points. And the trends are all in the right direction. Atvthisvrate, in a month PA will be a genuine toss up.
It's that time of the year when most, but not all, pollsters use "registered voters" rather than the much more accurate "likely voters" when they do their polling.
Why do they do that?
Because using registered voter polls will make Obama poll better and that's the real goal of the poll. Plus, it's a long ways from November when the actual vote will take place and their fraud would be exposed. By then most pollsters will be using the "likely voter" model so that that they won't look like fools on election day.
In other words this poll is, at least in part, propaganda.
“From June 5 - 10, 2012 Quinnipiac University surveyed 997 REGISTERED VOTERS”
Nuff said.
Not unbelievable, really. I’m in PA and there is an influx of people from the urban areas of the East Coast. We used to think they were just escapees from the rat race, plus some retirees who didn’t want to be THAT far from their young.
Well, it’s clearer now. The people coming in are, in large part, the moocher class. You can live very well in the hinterland when the government is supporting you. In some rural communities you can buy a house and pay your property taxes, with no other income than welfare. Government now pays the winter heating, the telephone, the medical insurance, food, and Lord knows what else. If you’re not into home ownership, the government will pay your rent. If you’re somewhere over 62, you get free utilities and rent! Just don’t make any money!
And it’s all tax free, folks! Everything but the mule.
So if the political tint of the region is changing, that’s why. You can live in a fairly low crime region with no “inner city” schools and other dangers, very comfortably. You don’t need to be anywhere near a source of employment. The long teats of the gubmint will reach you.
Who needs Camden NJ? Who needs Harlem? Philadelphia? Baltimore?
See post 25. The bums no longer need to be holed up in big cities, and they know it. They're mooching in the sticks now.
PS: Not to depress you further, but a lot of them are muslims.
You’re right. I think we’ve passed the tipping point. Do we have half the country on food stamps yet?
No doubt they counted the dead people in Philtydephia in this poll. After all, they vote regularly and often.
