Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, said Monday that she doubted she and her husband would vacation overseas as frequently as the Obamas if her husband were elected.
Romney was responding to a question from WJR Detroit's Frank Beckmann, who asked Romney if her family would be vacationing abroad as frequently as the Obamas.
"I doubt that," Romney replied. "Our vacations and our happiness come from being with our children and our grandchildren."

This kind of writing allows readers who don't go beyond skimming the headlines to fill in their own reasons that have nothing to do with children providing the happiness.

Even on a thread about a father saving his 5 year old from a rapist, someone posted that the rapist must be a friend of Romney or some such mush.

No, the faithless weak voters bowed to the lies of Romney and Rick - the design all along. Newt didn't fail - voters did, they failed America and succumbed to the snares of evil. First, mitt is not our nominee - who told you that? Just repeating what you were told? Saying something that ISN'T a FACT - like Romney? Is it August where you live? And I see you were brought into the web of deception through FEAR, also. That doesn't work with me, I don't submit to fear which is satan's tool. God protects HIS OWN. You, obviously, don't believe/KNOW that.
You fear satan more that you believe/trust God. Nothing good will come of that.
I don't taint myself for anyone - that is where my effort is! You live in your torment, which fear has, and I'll live in God's love. He protects HIS OWN, those who NEVER - no matter what - bows to evil. You can't serve two masters - one always wins out.
It's when the back is against the wall - what is stronger within raises up/comes out - good or evil and the spiritually weak always fails. Those who lived their beliefs all along, which are now deep rooted, will never bow to evil.
I don’t mind some and we may need to keep Romney’s feet to the conservative fire, but at this point it is Romney the Mormon or Obama the Destroyer.
I am not a fan of Mormon’s, but I don’t fear them. As for debate on Mitten’s moderate behavior, I don’t deny it, but I don’t see him running over congress and the constitution like Obama so brazenly does. If we get in conservative Representatives and Senators, Romney will work with them. Obama will not.
Maybe the poster see's how LIES worked for Romney (and barry), so why not try it and see what sticks.

For some time now I’ve been puzzled by this term “GOP E” and/or “GOP E-RINO”. What does it mean? GOP “equivalent” or GOP “electronic” (RINO)?
None of these make sense; I can’t figure it out.
So what’s it mean? (anyone?)

And Romney certainly proved that with his 3+ years of LIES, SMEARS against Sarah through his minions. I’m a realist, it took a while for us to get into the situation we’re in and it’ll take a while for us to get out of it. we weren’t strong enough to get a good conservative nominated this election cycle so I’d rather have a rino like romney than a communist like 0bama as caretaker until we can get a real conservative.

I thought you said you voted for NEWT? We did have a good and PROVEN conservative - the voters weren't STRONG in what they 'claim' they believe in - America!! Who - of ALL the candidates had that? He has the proof of what he could do - all the others had was 'talk' But voters quickly latched onto either Cain, MB or Rick who did NOT have the qualifications for the highest office in the land.
They rushed to who they 'liked' - and not who was proven and BEST for America. This should have been the easier of all elections!! There was ONLY ONE candidate for America! Yet, voters jumped from one candidate to another - talk about confused, naive, ill informed, easily deceived voters!
