On their first day in the Hub, a group of Cherokees hoping to confront Elizabeth Warren over her Native American heritage claims blasted the Democrat for trying to dismiss the ancestry controversy as a non-issue in the Bay State U.S. Senate race.
“Poverty, teen suicide, our health care system,” said Cherokee genealogist Twila Barnes in an interview today with the Herald. “Those are issues and those are the people she stepped on and used to benefit and now she says it’s not an issue. Well, of course, to her it’s not an issue because she doesn’t want to address that she did this.”

Twila was on the Howie Carr Show about a half hour ago. She said they have received threats of violence from Warren supporters.
Being a Cherokee in a federal recognized Cherokee band is a political thing ~
Let the “droppings” make her as filthy as any henhouse floor.
Recently tribal government has gotten aggressive and wants to get around the Dawes Rolls.
Interesting that their ambition would probably help people like Warren while tossing the black ones under the bus.
Warren wants to get away from this particular debate ~ obviously ~ but the people still attacking her have their own agendas that ought to be dragged out in public as well. Your tax dollars go to pay for programs among the Cherokee ~ and they are not honoring federal civil rights laws anymore, nor, apparently, their own treaties.
Need to keep their camera phone available at all times and press charges when appropriate.
Are they getting support from the non-Warren supporters?

The comments at the source article are priceless. Warren’s few defenders are rotating like Linda Blair’s head and spewing something similar. One of them even called the real Cherokee women ‘impostors”!

Frankly, I don't know but I do know tribe members and they have an ID of sorts. Kind of like membership in a swim club. They give you a card.
You were aware that more Cherokee were turned away from entry on the Dawes Rolls than there were Cherokee who got entered on those rolls ~ right?
It's your tax dollars at work ~ worth knowing these things.
Now, about any relationship Warren has to the COFB. That would be significant.

In regard to her Indian ancestry, she has been outed as one of the chicken-hearted braves of the Hekawi's (a peaceful tribe who once lived in Massachusetts, until the pilgrims arrived and ruined the neighborhood). Watch F-Troop, if you want more details.
It's amazing that anyone would consider voting for Warren, but voters in MA still haven't recovered from the Kennedy miasma. Go Scott Brown!
