Posted on 06/20/2012 6:57:13 AM PDT by Qbert
Thirteen points? Really?
Naturally they sampled more Democrats than Republicans, by five points. Even so, this poll conflicts wildly with every other national poll. Rasmussen, for example, has Romney consistently leading and up four points Tuesday (and the GOP up by seven in the generic Congressional ballot) with Gallup having Romney up by one point.
I suspect this Bloomberg poll be be widely touted by the media but wont hold up to any scrutiny by those who do polling for a living.

Bloomers had a “poll” yesterday stating that 64% of American love the foreign invaders from the south and think that they all should be given amnesty. 66% of “independents” believe the same.
Did Bloomberg run Scott Walker, Wisconsin recall polls?
That would be telling.
When I saw this poll on RealClear I almost spit coffee all over my keyboard. Even the liberal polls only have Obama up by 1 or 2 points so when I saw Bloomberg with a 13, I knew it was crap.
Bloomberg has screwed the pooch with this poll. Their credibility has been completely destroyed.
If course the poll is absurd and the reason behind it at least to me is obvious. In order to put their buy ahead in the RCP poll AVERAGE a strong showing was needed by Obumbler and that is precisely what this poll has done.
Bloomberg is such a joke not even New York Times would put a Poll out like that.
"When I saw this poll on RealClear I almost spit coffee all over my keyboard. Even the liberal polls only have Obama up by 1 or 2 points so when I saw Bloomberg with a 13, I knew it was crap."
I think Bloomberg made up these absurd numbers specifically to boost Obama's numbers in the RCP average.
This is a propaganda type of poll, to try to create the impression that Obama is more popular than he really is.
And, as noted, some sites report an average of various polls. This ridiculous poll will pull up Obama in such averages. Again, will make it seem to the casual observer that Obama is more popular than he really is.
They have to keep Obama number high ,so when he comes in second in Nov they can hit the streets ,well you can imagine
” In order to put their buy ahead in the RCP poll AVERAGE”.
The RCP AVERAGE is truly a joke. You can’t average polls that are months-old together with days-old, because it doesn’t represent today’s sentiment — only polls about a week old (or perhaps 2 weeks) represent what the people are thinking, on average. Secondly, only polls that are considered nationally significant should be averaged; blatantly partisan polls by either DEMs or REPs should be discarded. How could RCP sponsor such a misnomer as the RCP-AVERAGE? Who are these guys?
People were really excited by that immigration order. Obama delivered for his side, Romney failed his side.
Well, Democrats can breath a sigh of relief. There will be so many people voting for Obama, Democrats can relax about having to vote. Stay home, and watch the returns on the MSM.
Just scroll down to question:
Are you better off or worse off than you were at the beginning of 2009?
45% better off
36% worse off
Okay, okay they made a mistake in reporting the numbers. Actually it’s 31 points. There that’s got it.
I’ve heard Rush say that a lot of polls oversample Democrats so the polls must be bogus. The reason they oversample Dems is because there are more Dems than there are Repubs. But as far as this poll is concerned, the numbers are suspect. Were these registered voters or likely voters? I think the reason the numbers change when they do likely voters over registered voters is because more Republicans actually turn out to vote than do Dems.

I didn’t know McIntyre (runs RCP) was a lefty. Do those people know how absurd they look including an extreme outlier poll like this?
Just start thinking down ticket..it's all we have.
my disclaimer is that I don't like Romney very much, he and his religion scare me, he and his big money friends scare me, and he'll continue with some policies that I find abhorrent....
nevertheless, a Romney on a bad day is 100X better than bamey on an ordinary day....
I vote for hope and I vote for America...
