It’s obvious to me that we can’t give the man in the White House any more room to do what he wishes. Issa and his committee should keep on this. We’ve got a man with the mentality of a dictator in the White House. Another four years would be unconscionable.

I wonder what Obama is thinking right now. Is he thinking, “Oh sh!t...I am done.” or what. Must be quite a scene in the White House.

It was mentioned on Fox & Friends this morning that if one faithfully watched ABC, NBC or CBS news, one would know nothing about this Holder scandal and the vote supposed to take place this morning.

That’s how far they go to try to protect Obama.

It’s sickening.

What happened to the vote? Anybody know?

I’ve been laughing since 10 am est when the headline hit. Reeks of desperation. Holder had to say you protect me or i take you down with me.

Dims like Maloney and Cummings are reading their scripts like a bunch of porch primates. Carney will join them on the porch later today covering the kenyan’s sorry behind.

Mitt needs to keep his mouth shut about it, saying "Let the wheels of Justice have their day." It's not a political hammer until there is something to hammer on.

That, Sir, is truly sage advice. I hope Mitt does precisely that. It would show him a man of reason and competence.

The irony of it all is that one of those killed (while not American, still valuable) was the brother of the DOJ-Holder’s equivalent- in Mexico was killed through F&F.

Dare I say that I sense a little BLACKmail? Or would that be politically incorrect?

BS my foot! Freepers are more informed than the general public on Fast and Furious. Many outside of FR don't have a clue.
Watch the bastards slide! I would love to see Holder and Obama hang for this but I am bracing for them to slither their way out of it.
As for the MSM...they may not be as powerful as they were in the 70’s but they are still powerful. Check out the viewers for Fox and their impact on the GOP primary for example.
OH and one other thing...Nixon was loathed by Ted Kennedy and many inside of DC. I understand the precedence but Watergate was Disney compared to Fast and Furious.

I just called Issa office and told him he had millions standing behind him and to stand firm. She said she would give him the message.
Give a call and support him.

Drudge can run news cycles. Let Romney’s attack dogs go after this.

Boehner is probably in a corner quivering over having to grow a pair.

Man is Maloney a piece of work. Outraged she is!
That congress should dare question Obumo, his EP, or one of his minions! What have we come to?

When the dems repeat the lie that it was started under Bush the automatic GOP response needs to be: “Then you have nothing to hide; release the documents!”

FLASHBACK: Obama Attacks the Use of Executive Privilege

It appears Obama's/WithHolder's defense here will be to assert political gamesmanship by Congress. That's weak and won't hold up in the end. Something afoul here. I smell it, and it wreaks of B.O. Wouldn't it be a curious thing to have a presidential candidate running for reelection whilst being impeached? Well, we live in interesting times.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/jun/20/obama-asserts-executive-privilege-over-ff-docs/

“The assertion of executive privilege raises monumental questions,” said Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee who first began the Fast and Furious investigation.

“How can the president assert executive privilege if there was no White House involvement? How can the president exert executive privilege over documents he’s supposedly never seen? Is something very big being hidden to go to this extreme? The contempt citation is an important procedural mechanism in our system of checks and balances,” he said.

—This was truly a stupid move on his part.—

You mean like his infamous “the police acted stupidly” comment about the arrest of the professor, or the “Trayvon looked like he could be my son” comment in the Zimmerman case.

I’ve said for some time that he is either an amateur that is going to go down hard or he is the beast of Revelation and it will take God’s overt intervention. It is looking more and more like the former.

It strikes me that this really isn’t some brilliant chess move. It is desperation amplified by amateurism.

This Republican isn’t running in circles. Obama must go. Either by impeachment or being voted out. America is going to wind up in a civil war if this guy stays.

Was there ever any doubt that’s how it would be played? We’ll hear Bush, racism, witch hunt, political game, vast right wing conspiracy, ad nauseum. Anyone betting on impeachment is out of his mind.
