Its still not proof, it shows a pattern of thought and policy but does not prove that POTUS knew about gun walking or F&F.
Every comment could be attributed to project Gun Runner which did NOT have the element of gun walking.

Certainly! He and Holder were the ones that dreamed up the whole plan.
This makes Watergate look like a bungled two bit burglary—oh wait, it was! I doubt that WaPo will be revisiting this scandal 40 years later with front page stories. This will be framed as a racist GOP attack on Obama for something that is Bush’s fault. Whether it really gets traction remains to be seen.

Under G.W.Bush Wide Receiver program allowed for gun sales to cartel WITH US and Mexico law enforcement following the guns not i.e. “Controlled transfer” letting them “walk freely” as Fast and Furious did.
Executive privilege in not in the constitution either but has been accepted as part of the structure of the Republic for quite some time.

As has been proven throughout all recorded history, the greatest danger to any people in terms of death and destruction has always been from GOVERNMENT, so I am not too sure we want to continue to allow governments so much freedom to hide information from us. It would seem once they become powerful they are ALWAYS the enemy of ALL people.
