Gotta keep that ‘globull warming’ narrative going, donchano! Cause we’re all gonna ‘die’, and stuff.

Well, as an MSNBC watching lib told me this morning, us Conservatives are “Bat-Shit Crazy to think this Fast&Furious nonsense means anything!”

The Media-programmed response to any criticism of the Messiah Obama by these people is “Nutz!”, “Crazy!”, “Racist!”, “Bigot”, “Homophobe!”, yada, yada.

This is a case study in the power of propaganda that will be studied for centuries to come.

I noticed no mention last night on Nightline, either.

You'd think heat in summer was a new phenomena.

I can’t believe the heat wave overkill reporting here in the northeast. What about people in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, etc. who deal with these temperatures and humidity on a daily basis for months? Ridiculous.

To those who think this scandal will result in anything resembling justice... it will go nowhere unless the GOP speak with one voice and without fear of the MSM and DEMAND follow-through and keep demanding until the average American Idol viewer notices.

Because no matter how badly the law is flaunted by this administration the MSM will refuse to generate the kind of heat in their reports that gets the public's attention.

Ha-Ha. easy to predict.
Plus the MSM knows that this is not going anywhere in the end. If they thought someone would resign they would be forced to cover it.

Look at it this way, maybe if Holder turned over those documents then he REALLY would be forced to resign, but this way they just continue to play ‘victim’. Both Holder and O are black, AHAH, racism. :) Victims of the world unite!

“CBS News put together an informative and satisfying report while ABC and NBC spun and downplayed the story to minimize harm to the Obama administration.”

Disney (ABC) and GE (NBC) are mega-crony capitalists plugged in to the Obama administration. They’ll probably try to protect their investment, at least until the public outcry becomes overwhelming.

I tried to watch all three last night. ABC-Diane Sawyer seemed to be starting at the beginning of the scandal as tho’ her viewers wouldn’t even know what had happened otherwise - thanks to her and others of her ilk. It was a sacrifice for me as I absolutely cannot stand her droopy hound dog face.

I thought of friends AND relatives who refuse to watch anything but mainstream media, don’t have computers and don’t have a clue to what’s been going on for the past 2 years with F&F...

Pretty tragic!

One day, long time from now, an alien spaceship will come back to earth to check up on how everything went.

They will look at each other, nod and one alien will hand the other alien a dollar and say, “You win, You told you totalitarianism will beat freedom every time and I was hoping that humans would have taken to freedom and liberty.”

The other alien would say back, “that was the problem. You hoped it would be that way. I took action. If you would have taken action in the early 21st century I would be paying you.

They would both have a laugh, destroy the earth in the same great fashion that they did 5 million years ago and set up the board for another game of Planet Earth.

BTW since you mentioned Global Warming. I am currently Scanning pictures/slides from the late 1970s. I have a Picture of the DeQuoin Illinois State Bank from July of 1977 which shows the temperature at 105 Degrees, IIRC the Winter before was the great Blizzard in New York then the Winter after was the Great Midwest Blizzard of Winter 77-78 and a meme running through the big Magazines (Time and Newsweek etc.) about the coming Ice Age. Yet DeQuoin Illinois and many other places in the MidWest hit record highs that summer. I guess the Bullshit about global weather catastrophes has been disseminated for a lot longer than I had realized.

Do you have the slightest idea of what a common noun and a proper noun is? The latter is capitalized, the former is not.

You should have learned this many years ago.

CNN headline news person just presented the Congressional committee announcement like this: “Will this be a problem for the Obama presidency?” That’s all the Pravda news agencies care about: getting Obama reelected.

Barack Obama is the fair-haired savior boy of the homosexual agenda and the homosexual “journalists” are protecting their “man” on all topics. The society of gay journalists is a well-organized group. National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association. They’ve been activists strategizing, all the while filling the journalistic ranks for many years. Rather than campaigning for the right to get much needed therapy for their same sex attraction, they screw the American people all day long, every day through news and entertainment media. They are out of control addicts in all areas of their lives. Covering for their man, despite the fact that he is a street hustler without presidential qualifications, is one of their irrational addictions.

Perhaps you meant flouted? (A dictionary will show the difference.)

But with this little change your intended point seems well-made and correct ---

Hey, smart ass, perhaps you’ll note that I immediately corrected the grammar. I know what is and what is not correct. YOU are the one who has the problem that I pointed out.

You do? Then why did you do it wrong in the first place? And like I said you gotta admit that is damn funny. A "Grammar Nazi" making a grammar mistake when pointing out a mistake in another post. That is "doubleplusgood".

Thanks for the laugh Sparky! hahahah

Flaunt works as well. But the point is made.

Yes, in fact, I should have looked up "flaunt" in a dictionary before making my comment (which I now have).

Normally "flaunt" is taken to mean "to parade or display ostentatiously"; but, when used as an transitive verb, it may be interpreted as "to ignore or treat with disdain," depending on the context. Without clear context, it would be ambiguous, whereas "flout" could never leave the reader in question if that was what the writer meant.

My education in the English tongue is thus improved. Thanks!

You still have not addressed the issue. The issue, in case you have forgotten it, is your failure to understand the rules on capitalization of common nouns and proper nouns.

The way you write suggests that you are not quite an adult. How old are you, anyway? Fifteen? Seventeen, max.

"You still have not addressed the issue."

Oh I see the problem now Oldpossum. You are under the illusion that I give a flying frack what you consider the "issue" is.

Here is the issue Sunnyboy. You wanted to play "Snarky, the Grammar Nazi" and ended up embarrassing yourself by posting a sentence wherein you confused the usage of "is" and "are" while berating me on the usage of capitalization. Which is about the funniest thing I've had the pleasure of reading on Free Republic this year.

In fact it is so deliciously "Ironic" that I expect Websters Dictionary to use your blunder as an example of the word "Irony" in a future edition. (Copies of this testimonial may be picked up in the lobby as you leave the theater.)
