A New York bus monitor who was berated and bullied by a group of middle school students has received more than $200,000 in online donations.
Karen Klein, 68, is seen in a 10-minute viral video attempting to ignore the verbal attacks by students on a bus operated by the Greece Central School District, near Rochester, N.Y. Children on the bus hurl repeated insults and threats at the grandmother, calling her fat and at one point suggesting that her children commit suicide.
But donations have since poured in for the grandmother in hopes that she’ll take a “vacation of a lifetime,” according to fundraising site indiegogo.com. As of midday Thursday, a total of $201,925 had been received for Klein and the video had been viewed on YouTube more than 1.6 million times.

I hope she gets enough donations to retire from that garbage heap of future humanity that rides that bus. I hope those kids are severly diciplined, humiliated and frightened that they will never say anything ugly to anyone ever again (even if they think it).
I volunteer to be bullied for 200G’s. We certainly have become a soft country. I saw a bit of the episode on Fox News this morning. First they say she is hard of hearing so I am unsure if she even heard anything. Secondly hopefully she will not do this job anymore as she is not equiped. Glad she is making some dough from a situation that caused her drama.
I used to drive bus for Minneapolis back in the mid-90’s.
Would have liked some combat pay for that TDY assignment.

I bet the girl who shot the video to show how screwed up those kids are will be the one to get in trouble and be disciplined by the school while the others walk.
Watch the kids calling her fat sue for royalties from their presence on the video.

There has always been dirty talk among school kids, but in the past, the worst of it was kept quiet before adults because they would get “the principal’s office” otherwise. They sure would not dare blurt such things out to a school bus driver.
Unless that mean little girl was suffering from an unanticipated bout of Tourette’s, had been bitten by a zombie with rabies, or something equally beyond her control, she... well in the old days that’s the sort of thing a paddle was kept in the principal’s desk for. Today if you look at the kid crosswise they scream at YOU not the kid. At the least she ought to be forced to a reform school. Telling the bus driver her kids should kill themselves. There’s no reason the rest of the kids should suffer her bad company.

Unlikely they have ever, or ever will be, treated like this. Until polite society returns to the USA, this (or worse) will continue to be normal for feral inner city children.
