They should hang Anna Gonzalez and bill the Mexican government for the rope.

So why in the hell did the mother get these bills in the first place??? What the hell is WRONG with people in SC?????

This surprises me as well. I'd have never thought that the family members of the victim would be billed for such charges.

It is normal to get the tow, and vehicle storage bills. Many places do charge for scene cleanup, and if a vehicle burns and damages the road there can be a bill for that as well. I have heard of people having to pay for trees they damaged in a wreck. I think normally if the other driver is at fault the other person’s insurance would pay those bills. This woman is an illegal without a license so I am sure she had NO insurance either.

The state’s victim assistance fund has provided some money, but it primarily covers funeral, medical and counseling expenses.

From the article.

BS BS BS.

I really hope the family doesn’t pay ANYTHING related to this. Make the city or town sue for the payment then countersue them.
Make this case REAL public. Raise hell over this.
This is so wrong on so many levels.

So you’re saying that people can file RICO suites against the government(for turning a blind eye to illegal immigration) and employers(for hiring illegal immigration)? ***They can if they want to, but it wouldn’t do them any good. The only real susceptible parties are the private employers who hire illegal aliens.

That’s an interesting concept. What’s there to stop the Mother from bringing a RICO lawsuit against the US Government for its invovlement in covering for the illegal aliens?

***Nothing, other than the fact that it requires tremendous resources. I doubt she has them. Someone like Donald Trump who wants to appear conservative could take up her cause. But in the end, there wouldn’t be much in it for Trump.

But in the end, there wouldn’t be much in it for Trump.

Except it would give him an excuse to make the rounds to all the talk shows to discuss his favorite subject: himself.

Yup, he loves doing that but he doesn’t want it to cost him $30M to do so. He does it for no cost now. Actually, he gets paid to do it, but not as much as he’s accustomed to.

I am SO **&^%ing enraged over these lazy women and lazy men who can't be bothered to take care of their own homes, or to pay an honest AMERICAN wage to get the job done, who drag in these stinking THIEVES and vicious derelicts to wage agony and misery on those who don't want them here!!

Who pays her wages? Who bought her car? Drag the lazy woman out and make her scrub up the blood with her teeth!!

Here in the sanctuary city of Medford, Oregon, where the latino gangs run wild and rule the city, the graffiti is thick! If it is on your property you have THREE days to get it removed or you (the victim) gets fined! Same kind of crazy thinking.

Dunno if Justin Walker had “Uninsured Motorist” insurance

Basic liability insurance is required by law in SC (for vehicles that you hold title, i.e. no lien), and it includes uninsured motorist provision.
However, tow coverage depends on your policy (I have it). accident cleanup seems like it should be covered by the at-fault party (and thus by uninsured motorist coverage).
So some of those bills might be paid for by the insurance if she submits them.
