Note that I’m getting a lot of “service temporarily unavailble”. Keep hitting refresh, folks, it will eventually work. So many Sundays this happens, only on Sunday mornings. Why?

I dunno.

Maybe He's pissed we're not at church.

Same thing here Fishtalk. Maybe we can get Issa to have another investigation into the FR server problems. Might be a Commurat plot to do us in. /sar

BTW, we are now in Charlotte, NC for the next thirteen weeks or so.

Considering that VP's most often sit and rot, can never get credit for anything, except blame, he's wise to refuse. Especially, if he thinks like I do that Rubio's assistance on the ticket is not essential to victory. It's a less dire decision with Obie's daily exploding cigars.

Secondly, I have total confidence Romney will succeed, which means he's in for 8 most likely, which means Rubio sits on his behind for 6 years. In fact, Marco spoke the phrase "6 years".

Should we have evidence we can't win without Rubio before the decision must be made, then I'd call Rubio out for selfish self-interest.

What say you all ?

Rubio pulled off facing dnc dave and the NBCrap program. Other Republicans would not do as well and should avoid ever going on a NBCrap network.

That would be much more efficient wouldn’t it?

There is an alternative, take both of them off and get someone else less lib and much less full of themselves.

Slep Smith is too old to think he is cute but he still does.

Rubio, to DNC Dave, on whether he would advocate using money from closing tax loopholes to lower the deficit:

“I reject the premise of your question...”

I wish I heard that more often from GOPers.

Too bad Senator Rubio did not apply that answer to the question about West Coast or East Coast Rap/HipHop music. I suppose the next round of interviews will include questions about "briefs or boxers" or "what kind of tree would you be?"

I don’t know how Issa maintains his composure when dealing with these worms.

Issa was a bomb disposal expert in the Army.

Used to being up close and personal in the Valley of Death.....

a few worms are a nothing...even spice worms.

You are absolutely and without reservation correct: “We spend out time fighting their lies.” What time we don’t spend on that we spend answering false assertions or questions or accusations.

Why aren’t we smart enough to devise a tactic to deal with this? I claim it is because we are not willing to get into the knife fight with them. We are stilly trying to play by some rules.

They, on the other hand, have no rules. They have no honor, no sense of shame, no concept of the future and their credibility in it. They count on the sheeple to forget and the sheeple do forget, in no time at all. The lefties are usually not good chess players. They mostly don’t think a single move ahead. There is mostly only the now and winning right now any way they can.

How you behave, your honor, your shame all pivot on your belief that there is a future, people do remember, your reputation matters, there is a judgement coming... you have a soul that you value. This is what keeps you honest.

Well you gave me the laff of the day.

Can this administration get any stupider? I’m serious, same mockery if the Republicans did such a thing. Got to do with the life surround of the political class and us common class peons.

The jokes write themselves.

We the common people don’t especially want to give gifts of their exulted selves on a happy family event having nothing to do with them. At least as I see it.

Something about common sense. The political elite, they have no commong sense. Only the common people have common sense.

Hence the name.

Seriously, every word you said is correct.

But is understood only by the common people. Those with the common sense.

Does not apply or is understood by the political class.

We may have to take over.

I agree that VP is not always the most glorious position to hold.Problem is we want a more or less guarantee that our side will win, elite pubbies not withstanding. They--the Roves and Peggy Noonans' of the party who poo-pooed a Rubio VP selection this morning all think that Palin and Rubio are bad for the party. They can all go to hell as far as I am concerned.

Marco is seen as a huge asset for our side as far as the Hispanic vote goes.

This is true but only a very small part of the Marco Rubio effect,IMHO.

This guy has charisma!!He's a conservative on fire with all the right ideas from the economy to immigration to our status around the world. He is "the" complete package and I wish more people would see this.

We all know that Issa is THE driving force in Congress. Soros and O are going all out to defeat him at the polls. If it is even close, we should set up a line for his website and contribute.

I recall Clinton’s Impeachment. The most effective House Manager, James Rogan from California went down in the mosr expensive Congressional elecitosn in history up to that time.

Linda Grahamnesty was a showboat but also a sucked up and insured Bubba wuld not be “removed” but only “impeached”. The fix was in, and one of our brave (Rogan) men paid.

As Wiki says: Rogan was even made to wait over a year to be denied a vote as a Federal Judgde (nominated by W). Pay back is thorough and Dems have a long memory.

This is screaming at the wind but, WE HAVE A COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION POLICY.

What we need is ENFORCEMENT of the immigration laws we have.

Try going around for very long without a passport and a proper visa stamp anywhere else in the world and see how far you get before you either go to jail or are deported. They aren’t very nice at all when you are found out either. I have been there and experienced it first hand in at least three countries.

Our borders aren’t porous... they just don’t exist anymore. The mighty USA, stupidest electorate on the planet and most corrupt government.

I have been majorly impressed by Rubio. He seems to be a good man intending to find the answers. He’s very believable.
