“We will be prepared,” said Obama aide Valerie Jarrett this week when asked about White House contingency plans in the event that Obamacare is struck down by the Supreme Court. But on Twitter, Marc Ambinder of The Atlantic said something interesting: that the White House has executive orders ready to go if Obamacare is struck down. “Their content and timing I don’t know,” Marc says. “But they’ve got contingency plans a-plenty.”
It’s not clear to me exactly how much of Obamacare can be reinstated via executive order. It’s certainly conceivable that the president could issue costly mandates that affect private insurers. But the president couldn’t expand Medicaid on his own, or ration Medicare without congressional approval.
Meh.
I will refuse to follow any Executive Order from the idiot in the WH. Obama can FOAD.
I expect nothing less.

I kind of hope he does. It may finally force the American people and Congress to do something about this despot.

Problem is, the Left has figured out that rather than compelling you to do something, it’s easier & more effective to compel a more willing party to make your life very difficult unless you comply.
Sorta like the classic RKBA cry of “FMCDH!” Ok, fine, keep your guns - retailers and manufacturers will be driven out of business, leaving you with no way to repair or resupply. Likewise health insurance: they’ll just tweak things so that sure you don’t have to buy it, but no provider will want to deal with you unless you do.
King George didn’t have constant monitoring and reporting of dissenting comments and financial tracking nor the ability to lift money out of people’s savings accounts without them knowing it.
If he does attempt to circumvent the SCOTUS via EO, then he might as well cancel the elections in November, because there is NO WAY IN HELL he is going to be re-elected, with 75% of the American people AGAINST OBAMACARE.................

There will be a prime time presser, in which Obama will declare FREE healthcare for everyone and “children” (under age 30).
None of those back and forth negotiating with lawmakers on public options/death panel/is it healthcare or insurance thingie. If he has to go out, go out BIG.
Of course, he will probably also make an executive order demanding that the "H" be capitalized when referring to him.
I forgot, Obama will offer FREE healthcare NOW. Immediately.

The legislative branch and the judicial branch are very close to irrelevance. I wonder if they appreciate the gravity of Mr. Audacity’s actions.
Good. People need to be pushed to the point they push back. Everyone has their limits and The Dems know how wholly unwilling the average American is to stand for what they believe in. Thus the mess we see today
So until people are pushed to a point that overcomes their reluctance to straighten their spines, I say Bring on the EOs a’plenty. The sooner we hit that point, the sooner we can begin to fix the mess.

I was speaking of the American People. I case you haven’t noticed, after all Obama has done to destroy America, he is very likely to be win 4 more years. The Tea Party can’t even dent the GOP. I guess you haven’t noticed Obama lite is the GOP choice.
The American Revolution didn’t happen because of clever pamphlets or navel gazing circle j@rk$. If you are suggesting wet work, then you might get my attention. I will be reading about the swat raid on your abode on Free Republic.
Simple, another EO to unilaterally increase the debt ceiling and have his minions at the Fed increase the RPM's on the printing presses.
As a side note, many of the provisions of Health Care Reform are hidden in other laws such as the American Recovery Act.

Rioting invites two things:
1) martial law which means no elections
2) invasion
There are only two things to do:
1) pray with faith, forgiving all
2) vote
If he does that, then Congress needs to immediately cut off funds.

Since the GOP took a public relations hit in the 1995 government shutdown, they won’t ever withhold funds again. Look what happens every time a so-called budget crisis pops up- they fold like a house of cards.
Anyone left that is still actually naive enough to believe that an announcement tomorrow striking down the mandate will have any meaning/effect whatsoever? Tomorrows announcement is just a meaningless exercise.
If that is so, in large measure it will be because the corrupt MSM provided political cover for Obama.

There’s an election very near...that is our pressure valve and it is up to the people to use it.
Right now, based on his record, his priorities and his abuse of power, I give him one chance in 10 of being successful in the election. If he over-reaches again on this issue, in particular, that falls to less than one chance in twenty. We should hope he tries - tomorrow he faces two crushing defeats and if he hadn’t already suffered terminal electoral wounds on his handling of the economy, these defeats would be conclusive.
