Marvel is teaming with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to observer Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October with several pink-tinged variant covers, plus a one-page advertorial supplement educating readers on the issue.
The following comics, all out in October, will have Komen-themed variant covers:
· Avengers #31 · Captain America #18 · Captain Marvel #5 · Fantastic Four #611 · Invincible Iron Man #526 · Mighty Thor #21 · Uncanny X-Men #20 · Wolverine #315
"Marvel is proud to partner with Susan G. Komen For the Cure to support their unparalleled efforts to raise awareness about the risk of breast cancer to both women and men," Marvel publisher Dan Buckley said in a statement. "We're in a unique position to educate all our fans and increase awareness of the ways to fight and reduce this risk of this disease by utilizing our comics and online presence."
Marvel has announced that they'll also support this initiative through social media and content on Marvel.com.
Sorry Koman, no more money from this quarter. You are dead to me.
Superheroes doing abortions???
Comics USED to be fun...now they are thinly-disguised propaganda sheets for the Communist Party USA.
So much for Marvel. Just saw Avengers and that will be the last one for me. Too bad.
When I see the pink garbage cans supporting this I just laught...............
Do they realize that 98% of their readership is MALE? Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers hasn’t been the same since swinging that PINK bat last month...
I volunteer to be illustrated by Stan Lee as the latest superhero, “Breast Man”.
Whatever happened to BREAST AWARENESS WEEK ?
I wonder if they use pink dumpsters to dispose of the babies..?
Captain Breast Exam.
...always on call, there to lend a hand.
Commies have to appeal to the lower reading levels?
Ever notice how the Left is determined to suck the fun out of everything in life? No sugar, no meat, no jokes, nothing remotely considered by them unsafe, no circus, no rodeos, no pets, no fancy cars, no fur coats, no wood furniture, no smoking, no football, no playground activities that might hurt feelings, etc. etc. They just insert their idiocy and advocacy into absolutely EVERY niche of life. There is no escaping their intrusive meddling.
Komen is a tax-exempt business no more interested in finding a cure than I am in finding Waldo
Ooooohh, THAT Marvel... I thought it was about the guy that makes .22 caliber conversion kits for 1911’s. it really make sense when combined with Komen, though.

That is it really did not make sense when combined w/Komen.
Also, keep in mind Marvel is now a Disney company.
