According to liberal MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts being the fifth vote to strike down Obamacare would make him the "second Roger Taney," the Civil War-era high judge who delivered the majority opinion in the Dred Scott Case and upheld the Fugitive Slave Act.
The left is focusing on Roberts - I’d really like to know why.

Anything from two days ago and beyond might be blamed on that inscrutable comment from Rush about Roberts and what to expect from him.
That convinces me that one of the Lefty justices has leaked to the Bobo administration. And it's bad news for Bobo.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Taney a Democrat? As weren't almost ALL of the anti-Negro politicians back then . . . and still today? Maybe Matthews should study a little history before flapping his gums.
How he could possibly equate anything with Roberts to Taney is beyond me.
I think it’s because they already know Roberts has upheld Obamacare (i.e., the death knell of the U.S. as we know it). They are going to boast that all the tough talk these past few days, from Dear Leader on down, is what cowed him into doing “the right thing”.
Mark my words, we’ll hear a bunch of talking heads over the weekend saying something to the effect of “clearly the court heeded the president’s words.”
How he connects the dots between this and slavery is beyond me. But then again, they are playing the skin color card on absolutely everything.

Lots of short term drama but within a year ObamaCare is simply replaced by some form of RomneyCare. Probably a slight improvement over ObamaCare therefore I will be grateful for any measley crum the DEM-RINOs decide to toss me.
He switched sides to vote with the libs on the AZ Immigration Law, so they see him as a weak link now.
