I don’t see how this gets repealed. We’d need 66 seats in the Senate to get there...we’re nowhere near that.

Repealed like Roe vs Wade? How many decades have we been promising to repeal that? You’re right. We’re stuck with obamacare forever.

This just f’d-up a wonderful vacation. I would have been fine until I returned from my trip in the mountains if it wasn’t for a text message from a disgusted patriot. I needed my cell phone on for emergency.

Does anyone see this getting resloved short of open rebellion?

I am reading through the decision now. Here is a remarkable quote from the decision (page 6)

“Those decisions are entrusted to our Nation’s elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them. It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.”

Full decision found here:

Well there is truth to that statement

As my post on this forum will verify, I am sad to admit that I suspected. Roberts has no respect for anyone’s liberty nor any kind of limited Constitution of free civil government.

In my opinion, this decision paves the way and lays the ground work that will allow the government to mandate that every citizen must possess on their person - at all times - an identification, such as a mark, in order to conduct any type of transaction, health care, economic, or otherwise.

The idiot Bush strikes again.

But, but, Bush was a Wepublicant and you either had to be with him or you were with the terrorist. GW Bush did no wrong. He was as Conservative as George McGovern.

OK this is a prime example of why you do not vote for moderate/liberals in the GOP in the hopes of conservatism. The most important choice of his term and he screwed that up as well. Everyone thought his picks were so great well NOW WE SEE WHY BUSH PICKED HIM.

Yes Really and Trully Bush's Fault this time. We don't have a congress with a spine because all his friends got put in congress during his terms as well. Gee what a mess. No Romney for me. No More LIBERALS.

NICE! So they deflect it onto the citizen voter as a consequence of political choice vs. what it really is: the consequence of bad law (i.e. clearly unconstitutional law) and the court’s inability to call it as such. No intestinal fortitude whatsoever there comrades, you have been taught well - it’s always someone else’s fault.

Let us bring forth the Revolution, Let us defend our rights with the arms God has seen fit to give us!

If the Federal Constitution is an absolutism dead letter to despotism as Roberts has seen forth to make it we have nothing meaningful to preserve.

All the more reason that it is critical to take back the Senate and Presidency.

Yes but first there has to be someone to actually vote for. Mitt Romney is not that soneone. My vote goes to Goode. My two RINO Senators See Saw Corker and LaModerate Alexander I will never vote for.

” What does Obama have on Roberts?”

I believe he and his family were threatened.

He can’t be this stupid.

” I’ll add that to me right now Roberts seems to have been swayed by a preoccupation with his own legacy, “

His legacy is now excrement.

I don’t care what it’s called. I don’t care how it’s rationalized. The intent of a piece of legislation is irrelevant. This ruling changes the United States just like Wickard v. Filburn in 1942. Even if Obamacare is repealed in its entirety the concept of an Individual Mandate has been found constitutional. That’s the hook upon which all future mandates will be hung. This is the fulcrum upon which every legislative crowbar will pivot.

The Legislative and Executive branches made the decision that the government should own the people. That it should have the power to penalize noncompliance with its wishes.

The Judicial branch has just decided that it agrees.

Your body is now the property of the U.S. Government as surely as if you volunteered for military service. Oh, it won’t be terribly drastic at first. All the current adults won’t stand for it. But the children… they will be taught to think differently than their parents and grandparents. The system is already in place. In every school, on every popular TV show, conditioning children to the new normal will begin. First unhealthy choices will be considered wrong. Next they will be considered offensive. Finally, they will be considered criminal. The criteria for ‘unhealthy’ will be decided by carefully selected Harvard graduates. Expertize in medicine will not be required.

Do I seem sad and pessimistic? Good, then I’ve managed to convey my true feelings.

"It's way past time for a tax revolt in this country. Refuse to file, refuse to pay and refuse to become slaves"

There aren't enough Jails to hold all of the Taxpayers, if they'd enmasse stop paying. The parasites would go nuts......

Theses injustices care even less for liberty & constitutional law than they do for the truth.
