The point is that to show courage in this situation would be to hold to the oath you swore to yourself and not vote for any RINO, meaning Romney.

Why would it be courageous to allow my FREEDOM to be lost? Fighting for my country and the American Ideal is what this is all about! It trumps rinoism at this point. You can sit there all you want and say Romney is the same as Obama, but what just happened today in America is the exact antithesis of what is America. Romney, no matter how much of a rino he is, is not anti-American.

If you can't see YOUR freedom being eviscerated today you are blind. There is only ONE WAY now to get it back, vote that scumbag socialist lying prick Obama and his ilk out of office and try to replace it with people who do not at the very least HATE capitalism, freedom and the American way of life!

The only way to vote AGAINST Obama and this FREEDOM killing law is a vote for Romney, who promised today he would repeal this DAY ONE! I can live with a rino who will do this.

I read that his campaign website took in $100,000 in the first 40 minutes after the decision.

P.T. Barnum's quote about the birthrate of suckers comes to mind.

“It comes from a very ancient democracy, you see..."

"You mean, it comes from a world of lizards?"

"No," said Ford, who by this time was a little more rational and coherent than he had been, having finally had the coffee forced down him, "nothing so simple. Nothing anything like so straightforward. On its world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."

"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."

"I did," said Ford. "It is."

"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't people get rid of the lizards?"

"It honestly doesn't occur to them," said Ford. "They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates to the government they want."

"You mean they actually vote for the lizards?"

"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."

"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"

"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard," said Ford, "the wrong lizard might get in. Got any gin?"

"What?"

"I said," said Ford, with an increasing air of urgency creeping into his voice, "have you got any gin?"

"I'll look. Tell me about the lizards."

Ford shrugged again. "Some people say that the lizards are the best thing that ever happened to them," he said. "They're completely wrong of course, completely and utterly wrong, but someone's got to say it."

But that's terrible," said Arthur

"Listen, bud," said Ford, "if I had one Altairian dollar for every time I heard one bit of the Universe look at another bit of the Universe and say 'That's terrible' I wouldn't be sitting here like a lemon looking for a gin.”

And yet, I doubt anyone reading the anti-federalist papers would be much surprised... they correctly identified many of the problems, not of the Constitution per se but of the [corrupt] people using such a Constitution.

Indeed. I used to wonder why the Letters From A Federal Farmer never got the distribution and discussion that the Federalist Papers do. It's been a long time since I wondered about that.

Good afternoon.

No matter the outcome of the election in November, if 0bamacare isn't totally repealed, I will not comply. Let me be clear...

I WILL NOT COMPLY .

I didn't say I didn't see it; I just knew that this was a likely outcome; indeed it is the natural progression of Eickard, Raich, and Kelo. Even Roe showed us that the Court is not unwilling to run down the rights of the States or the People.

There is only ONE WAY now to get it back, vote that scumbag socialist lying prick Obama and his ilk out of office

You are patently wrong there; the ammo-box is another option. Also, I'm not so sure that "his ilk" can be voted out of office; Romney is a socialist, no?

and try to replace it with people who do not at the very least HATE capitalism, freedom and the American way of life!

Just because they don't "reject capitalism" (communism) doesn't mean that they're not socialists... Nazi Germany had the private ownership of companies, IIRC... otherwise Schendler's list makes a lot less sense than it ought. Certainly fascist Italy did.
In short: Choosing Hitler over Stalin is not the way to "vote for freedom."

I voted for Romney in the Texas Primary and will do it again in November. If you think what Obama has done these first 4 years was nutso.....just wait until his second term. It will be something we will never recover from.... so yes, Romney is our left standing.... and he has to be better than what we got now. At least I am praying for that......

Awesome!!!!! Stolen. Personally, I think we're already at the enslavement phase. We haven't noticed it because we are allowed to 'vote' on the Janus-like face of our masters.

I occasionally see comments here on FR and elsewhere by conservatives that they don't expect the elections to be held in November. It would be wise to keep in mind that the liberals and other socialists were saying that about Bush prior to the last election (that he would declare a national emergency or something to avoid having to leave office). Neither case we happen. I can pretty much guarantee that, because it is the elections that give the patina of legitimacy to the government. People think that because they got to vote, that they had a 'choice'. If the PTB take that release valve away, all bets are off. You'll start seeing some vilence that will make the riots coming later this year look like a touch football game.

Virgil Goode is NOT “our only hope”. He is not even remotely “any hope”. He is a good man, I’m sure, but he has NO HOPE of winning. Do what you wanna do. I truly hope that you live in a stone-cold Red State like Texas or Oklahoma or Alaska that is so “Red” your vote for Mr. Goode won’t hurt our chances of defeating BHO on Nov. 6th.

Yes, because voting for republicans is so different from voting for democrats. Who appointed John Roberts? Oh, yeah, President Bush did that. I guess his vote must be o.k. then because the President that selected him had an (R) by his name.

Sorry, but I'm just not playing their games any more. I suspect I'll be joined by many others.

Me for one; I'm not voting for Romney... and likely wont vote for a single [Federal-level] Republican this go-`round. They won't have my vote unless they actually start doing rather that just saying their platform-planks. (Smaller gov, responsible fiscal policy, repeal Roe v. Wade, repeal GCA/NFA [2nd amd violations], etc)

By 2:00 p.m. CDT, 5 hours after the Ruling came down, Romney had raised $1 Million.

This ruling was a setback but only a temporary one if we win in November.

100% REPEAL. Nothing less.

GREAT IDEA: But why not just call it “JudgeRobertsCare” ? You need to get that suggestion to Rush, Hannity, Greta, Glen, Mark (Levin) and Laura Ingram. Hopefully, Judge Roberts will get a miserable night’s sleep tonight.
