Rush was quoting the prevailing wind from Joe DeGenova that Roberts was
“gotten to”. I don’t think he really believes it.

There’s no way anyone can get to a justice much less the chief justice. This
was Roberts taking off his faux conservative robe. We got snookered and it’s
Bush’s fault.

yep...the mesh used in the tear repair moved to the right creatin an edge....it irritated like stupid 24/7....they blamed me cause while I was doped like a 3 Stooges cousin after surgery I was walkin all over the nurses station

but i do not think the word ‘tax’ is in the bill even once

for roberts to take it there seems like a stretch to me

I don’t know about that- and in fact- it doesn’t really matter.

What matters is that regardless of whether or not this law is repealed or NOT, the decision has been written by SCOTUS and a NEW area has been discovered by the Court and PRECEDENT has been set. How many decades will it take for THAT to be undone? How many politicians will come and go? This changes the way the COURT will be allowed to view laws that come and go before it. This is NOT about long or short term political advantage.

The Constitution has been CHANGED today. Not by Barack Obama. By a “man in black” the CHIEF JUSTICE John Roberts.

rush said something about the why - the why of robert’s ruling

the why is meaningless - his motivation does not matter

he could say he voted that way because he likes to insert objects in his anus - it won't change anything

and to take that to the point of questioning rush’s patriotism is insane

IIRC, tax penalty or sumpin was there, maybe twice. sure it is a stretch, the other conservative justices did not agree with Roberts. Oh and I read today:

Mary Landrieu got her Louisiana Purchase medicaid extra $ for her vote. Now, with compromise being done on student loan/transportation bill, that Louisiana Purchase is being done away with and LA will get no money for her vote.
