Calling the actual mandate to purchase insurance a “tax” has now replaced Wickard v. Filburn as the most bizare Supreme court opinion in history. I understood that the Stateist were reversing course and trying to argue that the penalty is now a tax, but in their wildest dreams I’m sure they never thought that the court would declare the mandate itself a tax thereby skirting the Commerce clause.

The idea that Roberts could both describe the mandate as unconstitutional and then argue that a law that requires you to purchase a private product from a private company is actually a federal tax and not the mandate that even thouse who drafted the law believed it was, is just twilight zone bizare.

In California, no poll would be appropriate without adding a question 4) What’s the health reform law?

One thing that nobody is remembering is Obama’s promise to pro-life Dems like Bart Stupac that Obamacare would not include birth control or abortion.

It would have never passed had he not lied to his own party.

This is also the reason it violates the freedom of religion.

I think someone needs to point that out.

It had been years since I FREEPED a poll. Finally did it again. Felt good, although the question strangely didn’t mention a TAX. From now on the media must be set straight every single time they call it a law instead of a TAX or reform instead of a TAX or a mandate instead of a TAX.

The I.R.S. is now in charge of health insurance. Who saw that coming?

CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERTS -— YOU ARE INCOHERENT.

You have no balls. NO courage in your only solemn duty.

It was a simple question. It really was.

The COnstitution shining moment to save us from a tyrannical
government.

Well, 3 out of 3 branches are lawless now.

1. House under Pelosi: DEEM AND PASS which we almost got. LAWLESS.

2. President Obama LAWLESS acts are numerous, Senate recess appointment, Libya, GM bondholders, firing GM CEO, Union buddies getting
GM stock, Immigration amnesty by fiat, punishing duly soverign states

3. THE SUPREME COURT. We demand answers. WTF. As Sarah Palin
would say.

WTF Roberts? Couldn’t strike down an African AMerican President law?

DO YOUR JOB AND THE SYSTEM WILL WORK. NOW WE ARE F**** SCREWED.
WE ARE OUTRAGED AND SHOCKED. DISTURBED AND DISMAYED>

America is dead. The future is bleak. We (Conservatives) never win on anything nor will we ever. We are uteerly powerless. We don’t control anything. A Socialist media will hide the truth from the people about 0bama and his polices and he will win re-election on his “nice smile” and “cool, laid back personality”. We will have another 4 years (and maybe more) of him and his “tall, elegant wife with an electrifying smile and a flair for fashion that suits her well.”

Trying to find reason for hope or optimism back can not find it. An influx of third world immigrants and an increasing “gimme” black society have stamped out Conservatives at the polls. They will always out vote us when a “hip and cool” minority Democrat is on the ballot.

If I had children I fear I might be at risk for killing them to keep them from living in the terrible country that will be in 2-3 years. For the time I don’t feel sad i don’t have kids. I’m glad I don’t.

America is dead. The dream is over. Life is pointless. Thank you American Idol and Hip Hop crowd who love and honor this son of bitch and forced him down our throats. I hope you all suffer the most at the hands of the tyranny that is coming. F*** you, you f***ing commies. Please suffer mightily.

I have some patriotic T-shirts that have just been hanging in my closet for months now because I can’t bring myself to wear them anymore. Especially now after the Arizona and obamacare rulings, I feel like all U.S. flags should be flying at half-staff. John Roberts is responsible for both of those rulings. So is Obama. So is Eric Holder. These rulings were anti-freedom, anti-America. Roberts, Obama and Holder are enemies of what this country once stood for. I hope and pray Eric Holder exits soon. Obama’s still got 1 or 5 years left to go. Unfortunately, John Roberts will likely be Chief Justice of the Supreme Court for decades to come. And we’ll have to look at that goofy little grin of his in his mug shot every single time he shows us how insane he really is with a ruling that takes freedom away from us.

Over the past three plus years we have repeatedly seen bizarre behavior by judges who were asked to take a legal stand against Obama. Bizarre because time and time again they would concoct rationale in their decision that defied logic and common sense. Many would start out in the case with encouraging statements like Judge Carter in California who stated at the outset that the eligibility issue needed to resolved once and for all and he was going to do it. Yet, when the decision came out he punted. One judge concluded he didn’t need to decide the legal issue because it had been twittered and vetted on the Internet. Now we have just witnessed the “Supreme” display of this cowardly intimidation taking place with Judge Roberts.

People who have experienced life and observed how people react under intimidation can sense when the response in the case does not match up with the contrived, pretzeled effort to reach an objective that is unsupported by the facts. Standing has been a convenient excuse on the eligibility issue. Other judges have refused to address the Constitutional issue of eligibility, stating it is the job of Congress not the courts to decide Constitutional issues. Some courts avoided the issue by saying the citizen challenge was being made too early, as in Florida the other day where the judge said he didn’t know yet whether Obama was going to be the Democratic candidate for president. Other judges have said the citizen challenge was made too late since voters spoke in the 2008 election, Congress passed on the election and the matter was moot or closed. This illustrates the judicial gymnastics that have gone over the last four years to avoid issuing an adverse decision against Obama. It discloses a concerted effort by Obama to intimidate the judiciary.

CJ Robert’s decision is quite clearly contrived. It is not logical. It is incoherent. He took on the role of legislating from the bench in order to reach a preordained objective. However, putting Robert’s handiwork aside, there are other things that are more revealing and they are to be found in the dissenting opinion. It is here where it is clear that Obama’s thugs got to Robert’s late in the game and caused him to switch his position. As I read the decision, I was mystified by the writers use of the word “the Dissent,” throughout their dissenting opinion, presumably referring to the majority decision. How could this be? I will tell you. The dissenting opinion was up to the last minute the majority decision and the majority decision had been the dissenting opinion. Apparently, they forgot or didn’t have the time to scrub the decision thoroughly or it was left in there to intentionally disclose to the public the intimidation taking place at the Court. This Country has a serious problem on its hands and I do not believe November will be able to take care of it.
