Anonymous sources presented secret wiretap applications last week to the chairman of the Congressional committee which could spell disaster to Attorney General Eric Holder’s Fast and Furious defense.
The evidence reveal high-level Department of Justice officials approved the “gun walking” tactics that could have led to the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
The committee has been trying for 15-months to get information from Holder, who has used every legal, and arguably illegal means, to stall the committee from furthering their investigation with information from the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Ah, lest we forget, the timing is everything. Apparently all of it is right on time, leading up to the election.
What I don’t get is that the players are consumed with the single death of our lost border patrol officer, Brian Terry, but fail to drive home the point that 300 Mexicans were murdered also with the same ATF guns, in a foreign country in secret operations without permission nor coordination for the operation with the Mexican government.
Now there are tapes! Looking more and more like Watergate, isn’t it?

As “Plugs” would say, “That’s a BFD!” Federal wiretaps, known as Title III intercepts, require approval by the Attorney General. Holder’s fingerprints and signature are all over the paperwork. So, on top of the contempt of congress charges, he now faces charges on multiple counts of (dare we hope?) Perjury. That should be worth a couple of years at Club Fed. Feel like signing, Mr. Holder?
Tell me why I doubt the lawless ones are shaking in their boots.
They are going to have to reopen Alcatraz to fit all of the bodies that should be going down as a result of FF...

It's a wiretap application, not the wiretap itself. The document proves that high-ups in the DoJ (e.g., Holder's immediate subordinates) knew and approved the operations.

It has affected my daughter as well.
I’m not discouraged though. Some people here wanted us to hit bottom. We’ve hit it.
This country is resilient. I’m voting for Romney and I’m optimistic about him.
I also think we’ll make gains in the house and senate.
