Led by feckless chief Justice John Roberts, the U.S. Supreme Court today upheld the ObamaCare law by a 5-to-4 decision, with Roberts voting with liberals Breyer, Ginsburg, Sotomayor and Kagan.
While the decision means many harmful things for the American public, the Second Amendment community remains greatly affected, as the law requires Americans medical information to be culled and entered into a national database.
Centralizing these medical records will allow the FBI to troll a list of Americans for ailments such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to deny them their gun rights, in the same way that the Veterans Administration has already denied more than 150,000 veterans their right to bear arms.
Ironically, the Boston Globe last week reported how snarky liberals have been shocked to learn that hundreds of pages of their most intimate psychiatric notes have been posted into the database available for reading by hundreds (perhaps thousands) of strangers who work for their provider.
Now, their most embarrassing recollections are semi-public knowledge, and this was done knowingly and unapologetically by the people to whom they were spilling their confidences. Their privacy is gone, and there is nothing they can do about it.

There is no such thing as 'privacy' anymore when it comes to Americans' medical records. They will be accessible to virtually anyone within the regime's nationwide health care network, compliments of John Roberts.
Everyone seems focused on the 'tax' aspect of Obamacare. There are so many other unconstitutional aspects of this law itself, it's passage is egregious and outrageous.
Obamacare ought to be re-named "Robertscare".
I have the feeling that even if the ACA is repealed they will keep these records in a centralized database. No matter who we elect, the statists and totalitarians are in control of al the big Agencies.
I hope no one here revealed to their doctors that they own a gun—especially if their doctors seem to be anti-gun.
There’s a chance they would make a notation about your gun ownership in your medical record...........
This is how Hillary treated FBI files.
If this would work, too bad no one currently in the House or Senate has the balls to do it.
IIRC, invasive questions by physicians about patients owning guns began just over a decade ago. The climate varies among the states, but some state boards of medical examiners will investigate complaints of intrusive inquiries for so-called health reasons.
However, in other states, refusal to answer the doctor’s questions or getting another doctor goes into the patient’s record.
“Your attitude has been noted, comrade.”
Equally invasive IMO are lifestyle questions, especially the snarky “Do you drink alcohol? If so, how much & how often?”
I’ve replied, “Yes, doctor, I have a gallon plastic jug labeled “Alcohol”. Full of pure straight grain 190 proof Everclear. I take a pull several times daily.”
When he lowers his spectacles & looks at me over the top of them, I state, “I enjoy bourbon over ice before dinner & wine with my meal.”
There’s a prohibitionist abstinence air about these questions IMO. If alcoholic beverages are so harmful, then let’s ban the sale, possession & use of all alcohol.
Hmmm......hasn’t that been tried already?
Since owning a gun makes you more of a health "liability", I wonder how much more the TAX is MANDITORILY going to be to still get the "required" Obamacare?
I have always stated "It's not the healthcare, it's the DATABASE!!
How many of you would "voluntarily" sign up to put all the personal info of your life into a "comprehensive" Gov't database??
The IRS NOW has access to all your banking financial transactions under Obamacare (they'll deduct Obamacare like Social Security and Medicare) and seize your accounts for non-payment.
All that's left after that is to make things "cashless".
(There's an all-time best selling book that mentions the "cashless" thing somewhere......something about won't be able to buy or sell......)
And all this "Photo ID" stuff...probably ain't gonna be necessary.....
I would be careful about anything I said to my doctor now. Does the law now require I get a physical each year? Do my doctor’s hand written notes go into this database? Will they go in later? It changes your relationship with your doctor alright. Your doctor will practically be an agent of the US govt. The govt is not the same as an insurance co.
I know someone who used to work for a health insurer processing claims. They used to sit around and laugh at the “ridiculous claim of the day”. Playing “can you top this?” with customer health records. (this taught him among other things that sex is just about the most dangerous thing you can do)
I am more than willing to answer my doctor’s questions about my medical condition. He needs that info in order to treat me.
But if he asks something that does not have to do with my medical question, I just look at him. He gets a clue pretty quickly. Lord only knows what he writes in my medical record about this :)
I am posting this on all threads that question the events that just happened:
Trust the Lord but work like the dickens to get the liberals out of power. Stop complaining because it does no good. Find solace that this is a Christian nation and He will work out the details. Trust in the Lord!
If he gives me lip about it, I'll reply that the only "straight answers" he gets are those I see directly relating to my health... if it's really important he needs to explain how such question is relevant.
I've had the same GP for nearly 30 years and just found out that she was taking a CCW class with the intention of applying for a carry permit. She was really excited when she told me she enjoyed range time and scored pretty good for a tyro. I told her she had discovered a 'guy thing', range time is better then psychoanalysis for relieving anxiety.

“Find solace that this is a Christian nation and He will work out the details. Trust in the Lord!”
Yes He will.
the biggest databases in existence are devoted to “protecting” the most personal information on every person with a social security number (which means, every person), so, yeah, I guess there’d be some gun owners among them.
that don't mean it's gonna be fun.
I have a better idea instead of trusting the Lord to repeal this mess that is Obamacare . YOU get off your knees & get active call your Congresscritter . The LORD helps those that help themselves . Also the Congresscritters tend to see the light when the bastards start to feel the heat of citizens screaming for their scalps, showing up at the office with feather pillows & buckets of driveway sealing tar.
