Missouri Dem. Senator 'Hiding' from Reporters After Obamacare
Weekly Standard ^ | JUN 29, 2012 | DANIEL HALPER

Missouri Democratic senator Claire McCaskill is "hiding" from reporters after the Supreme Court's Obamacare decision yesterday, according to a local news report:

VIDEO

McCaskill won't say where she stands on Obamacare, though she voted for it. And she won't make her self available to members of the press curious to hear her thoughts.

"There's only ever been one goal for Claire. Affordable, accessible health care for Missouri," a spokesman for the senator told the local news outlet.

The Missouri senator is in the middle of a close reelection battle. Her past support of Obamacare is thought to pose a great political risk to her future.

McCaskill made news earlier this week by announcing that she will not attend the Democratic convention later this year.

She and Sen. Manchin (WV) should be toast after voting with Obama every time he needed to pass a plank in his Marxist plan to ‘transform” America into the old Soviet Union.

The “fun” with Dems who voted for Obamatax & are up for re-election begins. :-) Obamacare/tax was hung around their neck with a chain and padlocked by the Supreme Court. If we let them off the hook, shame on us. They should be hounded mercilessly with this during the election & run out of town/DC on a rail for being lying, corrupt, back-stabbing self-serving politicians. We elected them, we can fire them. To steal a slogan from Nike ..... Just DO IT.

I think the lower threshold for repeal will come back to haunt proponents of the legislation. In theory, a repeal of the ACA could be on the president’s desk before November’s election — there are quite a few Senate Democrats up for re-election this year. The 51-vote threshold for repeal is not an impossibility.

The GOP primary is hotly contested. Sarah Steelman and John Brunner seem to be the front-runners, but there are six other candidates.

I prefer Brunner myself. Steelman has a lot of baggage.

“Affordable, accessible health care” won’t mean a thing when the nation is as flat broke busted as Greece and Spain, has the 500 day waits for simple procedures, early death for the elderly, and nobody in the health field will work because socialism destroyed the profit and work incentives.

McCaskill, (MO)
Manchin (WV)

Add Debbie Spend-It-Now Jr Senator from Michigan.

Someone should make a list with contact for their opponents and place it in activism.

We need to know where to send our $upport.

Maybe not, but Harry Reid bringing it to a vote, is.

IIRC Osama Obama failed to carry Missouri by a couple of thousand votes in ‘08.But by the sound of recent reports Osama’s war room would be wise to remove the state from their “might carry” list.

She’s also the one who has been pushing for years to eliminate the natural born citizen from the POTUS requirement from the Constitution.
