Obama Threatens to Veto Bill Because It Won't RAISE Health Care for Military; Will Media Report?

The day after Barack Obama won a major victory for his signature health care overhaul legislation -- which he and his allies insist will ultimately LOWER health care costs for Americans -- the president is threatening to veto a defense authorization bill in part because Congress is not acting to RAISE health care costs for American servicemen.

The Washington Free Beacon has the story here, and I've also excerpted it below the page break. It remains to be seen to what extent the Obama-boosting liberal media will acknowledge the president's hypocrisy:

The Obama administration on Friday threatened to veto a defense appropriations bill in part because it does not include higher health care fees for members of the military.

“The Administration is disappointed that the Congress did not incorporate the requested TRICARE fee initiatives into either the appropriation or authorization legislation,” the White House wrote in an official policy statement expressing opposition to the bill, which the House approved in May.

President Obama’s most recent budget proposal includes billions of dollars in higher fees for members of TRICARE, the military health care system, and is part of the administration’s plan to cut nearly $500 billion from the Pentagon’s budget.

The media knows that would hurt Obama (Osama) so therefore they will find arguments to justify such action and blame the RNC (or whomever is convenient) for "forcing" (Osama) to take such a drastic course of action to get his agenda passed and into law.

No stinking surprise. These thieves with all their freebies out of our pocket books (congresscritters) have been slashing and burning our benefits and increasing fees for years now. I have a couple of 80+ year old retiree friends at church who are worried because between Tricare and Medicare cuts and increased costs, do not know if they can continue treatments both need to survive!!! The stinking government is already in the culling the population business, on the backs of veterans and their family members. My monthly payment back to the government out of my retirement check will triple in two years and continue to go up the amount of the amount of any pay raise. So, if we get a retiree cost of living of say 2%, then our health care will go up that same 2%. So they give it too us in one hand and take it out with the other. Our pocket books get smaller and smaller and our costs keep going up, up, up, up, up, you get the deal.

Heck, if we can survive 6 full deployments, we can survive this presidency. Clinton came and went. Bush came and went. Obama will come and go, too.

I’m not so sure. This one has really shaken my confidence.

I saw John Roberts speak at the law school near here three or four years ago, and he was quick, cogent, humorous, brilliant even, in my judgement.

The faculty and others were throwing barbed (maybe poisoned) questions at him and he knocked them down and battled back. Stood his ground. Conservative, conservative, conservative, with much conviction, and wit and insight too.

Yet this opinion of his was the most convoluted, dishonest piece of garbage I have read from anybody this side of Krugman.

He has undermined Constitutional authority, he has cracked the bedrock, he has thrown open the gates.

Maybe I’m overreacting but this seems to me as bad as Roe v. Wade and 9-11. I know that sounds terrible but it seems to me a true curse upon the land.

Obama To Military: Pay Up

Barack Obama threatened to veto a defense appropriations bill partly because it did not include higher health care fees for members of the military. That’s right. Obama was out to veto a bill because they didn’t raise fees for health care on military personnel. This is just another example of his total lack of appreciation of the military and disgust with America in general.

In an official policy statement the White House wrote,

He wants to drive Tricare into the ground so we can all use his “exchanges”.

Somebody needs to expose this but since he owns the media, I don’t see it happening. ;-(

Roberts saw a chance to help his legacy and the left. Apparently, this is what is important to him. Traitors come in all shapes, sizes and colors. And in this case, the Supreme Court of the United States make it possible for this traitor to fulfill his dream of greatness, and now he belongs to the damned.

We lost a battle, but not the war. This has inflamed We the People to fight hard and win. I would hope, really hope, that the military knows who this POS in the White House is, and that they will stand with We the People to remove him in November.

We have Rush, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Hannity and other conservative talk show hosts, as well as print conservative media sources such as the Blaze, Breitbart, Free Republic! to get the word out. It's going to be up to each of us to spread the word, and the military rank and file must be made to understand who and what this socialist/communist/marxist/revolutionary/sharia loving vermin is all about. Enough with the hand-shaking, photo-taking, smiling military faces whenever obozo appears at at photo-ops. It seems that in the past, I saw more straight faced military in photo-ops with obozo. Lately, not so much.

Like Michele Bachmann said recently on Mark Levin's radio show, do not help the enemy. Do what you can to put obsticles in their way, to thwart their efforts, until
WE WIN, and then of course, our vigilance must be never ending, because freedom is never. Our jobs, our property, our lives will be in jeopardy, to be sure, but in war you have to lose sometimes in order to win.
