Santorum to social conservatives: Romney's message is 'right on'
CNN ^ | June 16, 2012 | Gregory Wallace and Martina Stewart

Former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum gave a signal to social conservatives on Saturday: Mitt Romney's "message is sound. It's solid."

On Saturday, Santorum's praise was warm.

"The concern I had - I did, I was very frank about it - was that Governor Romney would track to the middle as so many Republican candidates have done, but I'm not seeing that," Santorum said. "I'm seeing him stand by those convictions that he articulated in the primaries and I'm hopeful."

It seems this wasn't posted -- it is from a couple of weeks ago, but it's important for conservatives to see that Santorum is firmly supporting Romney.

ALL conservatives with any sense do so -- we can't survive another 4 years of Obama.

We were discussing this very thing earlier today. You were on the thread.

Basically real Conservatives are more critical of their fellows who tell them "go ahead, do what the leftwingtard wants" than they are otherwise.

So, Santorum reveals himself to be a professional politician who signed a document that said he'd support the party nominee(s).

So what?

“ALL conservatives with any sense do so — we can’t survive another 4 years of Obama.”

Those four years include the following:

2 Potential Supreme Court Appointments (Want two more Sotomayors?)

4 more years of deficit spending (Think Obama will ever lay down the veto to any of this, put in mind he tolerates double the deficit of Bush on a bad year)

Which would you prefer more, a president who flip-flops over as little as weeks, or one who flip-flops over a period of years, Romney is mainly the latter.

Fourth, and most important, Obama will take re-election as every bit the motive to turn even further left, and push more of what he does to the left than he already is. Romey would be in a Vice Grip with the left against him from cognitive dissonance, and the right really holding him up to a fire, unless he’s got some conservative surprises, he’s likely to be a right-wing Harry Truman, tries to make it for re-election, but is shot down in the primaries by his own parties, and on the attempt at a second term as well.

“RINOs pi&& on Conservatives and call it rain”

Yeah well why don’t we put up the umbrella every year instead of just the 6 months before the election

And “pretend-conservatives” are viciously critical of the GOP nominee, while never having a bad word to say about Obama.

we can't survive another 4 years of Obama.

That is the only salient point in this election.

Diogenes' juvenile wailing on every post notwithstanding, the best thing for America is that Obama and all of his minions and henchmen be kicked out.

There is simply no other choice.

One thing is for sure. If he ever runs for president again that I will not have to debate in mind for one second that I will not vote for him.

Romney sucks. He is not a winner. Sanitarium is trying to get his debt paid. He sucks.

So, Santorum reveals himself to be a professional politician who signed a document that said he'd support the party nominee(s).

Which is to be expected and I've said all would do so all along. However, I'm not an American Idle voter and couldn't care less about endorsements, half or whole hearted. I gave up caring what the popular kids thought way back in middle school.

Moderates and RINOs are lying manipulative bottom feeding scum.

On the other hand Obama and the Democrats are fine patriots, is that your point?

Fortunately there are no real moderates, but if there were I’d agree they are definitely bottom feeders.

“Romney sucks. He is not a winner.”

If Romney is one thing, he IS a winner — he turned the Olympics around and turned around many failing businesses.

And we hope he will turn around the current path to decline we are on, as a country.

You have some stuff in your ear.

Spewed out of your mouth.

Look, these personal attacks have to stop. They are not allowed. If your boy were a real man he would have advised you of the inadvisability of angering us.

Turns out he's not a real man, and he didn't tell you to keep your mouth shut, so you've angered us.

We want the GOP-e deleted from the Republican party, not given the keys to the White House.

It's time to act.

None of which is to the point.

Saying that Obama’s opponent “sucks” besides being a bit childish, reads like an Elect Obama 2012 campaign poster.

You should call up the DNC and suggest it for their new slogan

BTW, obama is known for only two things ~ total stupidity and obamaKKKare.

I don't believe I've ever seen you come near that level of dismissive language.

You know why? Cause your boy is also stupid - Bain's 'faceman', and he invented romneyKKKare.
