PITTSBURGH (AP) -- A former FBI employee who retired due to post-traumatic stress disorder linked to time spent as a liaison between law enforcement and families of United Airlines Flight 93 victims has written a book about seeing legions of angels guarding the site after the hijacked airliner crashed on Sept. 11, 2001.
Lillie Leonardi was a Pittsburgh-area police officer before working for the FBI.

I’m more curious why angels would be guarding the site, than I am about why she was allowed to see them.

The article states, “What she is questioning in her book is why she was allowed to see them”. Perhaps she needed to see them if she was having a very difficult time processing the tragedy and dealing with mourning families. Yes... the images could have been a manifestation of her mind but they could have been a message to her that the souls were with God.
Don't understand your comment. Souls, post death of the body, still require protection from tormenting evil spirits.
ive experienced enuff thingz in my lyfe, that seeing angels is not out of the question....
most of the time this sort of thing is happening, but most folks are preconditioned to not believe, therefore they miss out....
ive been lucky, ive kept myself aware....and experienced all sorts of stuff...

It could be. I thought I saw them once at the site of a horrible car accident, one kneeling beside each thrown body. They could have been EMTs, but since the bodies were all covered with sheets including the faces, they must have been already dead; so why would an EMT need to watch over each body?
Jim Morrison, singer of the Doors, saw an accident and some dead Indians on the highway...He claimed the spirit of one of the dead Indians entered his body....
Of course he didn’t go on to collect post-traumatic stress disorder benefits like so many government employees do...
I have no reason to disbelieve this woman. Read “90 Minutes in Heaven” by Don Piper and tell me it’s not possible to feel and see angels.
My father, who was in no way a religous person, claimed that he had seen 2 angels take the soul from his dying younger sister’s body the night she passed. This was back in the 1930’s...
Just saying.
We could use legions of angels right now to protect us from Obama and the Muslims.
