How many of the killers in Chicago who murdered young black men - are faced with this kind of bond? NONE.

Ever wonder why?

But if he were an illegal alien who raped a baby, they’d let him out on his own recognizance?

Really?? What’s been “stolen” from Zimmerman? He’ll get his money back for showing up, won’t he? Doesn’t sound like theft to me.

The fix is in. There is little chance Zimmerman won’t be railroaded.

Hmmm. I thought the purpose of bail was to assure appearance in court. Once Zimmerman was told to return, he did. It seems as though the bail was serving its purpose.

you only post 10% of the bail amount.
He has $200K and posting half of that will set him free.
Write the check and then go back into hiding.
screw the judge and the DA.

Can you give us a link to that incident— the one where the illegal alien was charged with raping a baby and got ROR?

the bondsman keeps the 10% cash.

this bond amount can be appealed as unreasonable.

this guy is a flight risk or a danger to the community?

State attorney general Pam Bondi, her hand picked prosecutor and the judge should all rot in hell together

Lester has lost his mind.

You can kill 6 people in a drive by in Chicago and not have that kind of bond.

Gee, my wife could be released from her job if she had a 1 Million bond. She is basically incarcerated at work.

This bond is a joke.

In effect, it trumps the concept of bail which is a guarantee one will appear. In Florida, there is no bail for a capital crime, and this one is not albeit it was overcharged as a second degree murder. In essence Zimmerman is in jail, permanently, on the whim of a prosecutor who did not wish to put this before a grand jury knowing the jury would laugh the premis this was murder out of the room. So, she writes a charge like a doctor would write a prescription or a person would draw a check, signs it and Zimmerman is hauled off to the hoosgow with the hope he caves in to some reduced charge or face interminable time behind bars.

Politically charged. You’d think that instead of being accused of picking a fight with Trayvon in order to shoot him, he was accused of mass murders.

It would be sad for that 10% to be lost, especially with all that Zimmerman has been through. It’s too bad that the correct financial information didn’t come forth in the first place.

No he won't .... he'll lose the 10% he has to put up to a bail bondsman

That's $100K up in smoke and he's been convicted of nothing

.

He’ll never see the money again. The petulant judge has seen to that. There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that Zimmerman will be acquitted - the bias of the judge and PA has been made all too clear.
