There's something vaguely visible in my mind's rear view mirror.

Maybe they were brought over to combat some kind of American virus...maybe Dutch Elm or something that these birds eat the bacteria or something?

Something to that effect I think.

And yeah, gubmint bureaucrats handling such a thing. The mind boggles.

The MSM does not want us to like a nice guy, they want us to like someone who is rotten.

Exactly!
....That’s why the constant talking point of teachers, fireman and policeman need jobs!!!!!

Because it’s a “have you stopped beating your wife question”. It’s hard to refute.

Truth is we all need jobs. Not everyone can be a cop.

I agree with you class warfare statement. It is unfortunate that we have the Media that we have.

Mr. Newt was the only one to stand up to the Media. Mr. Newt was my choice for the Republican nomination. However he was demonized from 1995 on and it did have an effect on him. He may also have other personality faults (three marriages). He recently converted to Catholicism, may he find peace.

Now President Reagen on the other hand was the only one in my lifetime who was able to deal with the left wing Media.

I remember something about bombing Russia in the morning

The Obama MSM has been training the public to hate rich people and love poor people. They say it isn’t fair that someone is rich and there are so many poor people who can’t find the American Dream.

When I bought my house here in Delaware swamps, it had a buried irrigation system around all the gardens. That he had professionally landscaped, in fact, by Mexicans.

I ripped all attachments to hose faucets right on out. I mean what if I need to put in new gardens, new plantings?

It’s not that the landscaping was bad as done but the guy before me wasn’t much of a gardener. He had a lot of Burning Bushes all around....they’re okay. He had a lilac where there was no sun.

That serviceberry bush above, with the pic of my cardinal, THAT thing was on the wrong side of the porch and was reaching out almost horizontally desperate for sun. I ripped it out and moved it next the garage.

Hey, the cardinals like it and those are my judges.

Understand I’m just ranting here, not much disagreeing that a drip irrigation system isn’t a good thing. It is.

I find one of life’s greatest and most peaceful pleasures is walking my property with the garden hose.

I have a well, may I remind, pay no water bill. I have a septic tank. Even in Delaware’s high water table it works well. We have it pumped every three years.

I am a Backyard Wildlife Habitat Steward and my yard is certified as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat. Which means I plant and plan to attract the birds and such and I do, I say proudly.

As I water I get to admire my growing beauties, I get to consider what to plant here or over there or lately, how to kill the mole without having to watch it suffer.

Keeps me happy.

Jus’ sain’.

And Flo selling Health Insurance? Priceless!!!!

And irony upon irony since Progressive Ins. was founded and operated by the Soviet-loving, Marxist Lewis family of CP USA lore.

(And that’s Comrade Flo to you all!)

The sorts of sites that allow a direct uploading of pictures aren’t generally news and opinion forums like this.

Lucianne.com allows no such thing. Hot Air.com allows no such thing. Heck can’t even put up photobucket photos on those sites.

Facebook, Blogger....they allow a direct upload.

But they’ve got servers to handle that kind of volume. Pictures, Lord....it really would require a lot for FreeRepublic to get that kind of storage.

You can actually do drip for the lawn area as well. It’s a bit more difficult when the lawn is already in but easily doable. In the lawn area is where the big savings will come because a lawn needs to be watered (with spray heads) multiple times per week due to evaporation and having to put down enough water to saturate the ground to the proper depth.

Drip done properly can saturate the soil deeply and force the roots of the grass plant to go deep where the blazing sun and heat will not have any effect on them.

I use Photobucket.com for pictures. It has an easy upload function to select a picture on your computer. Once uploaded, you click on ‘edit’ & it opens up several lines of code, one of them marked html. You click on that & it copies, & all you have to do is have a message open on FR & you click in the box & do a paste. Very simple.

Campaigning in Ohio President Obama bragged about getting tough on trade with China and saving the US auto industry, while accusing Romney of sending jobs overseas. He conveniently forgot to mention, however, that after closing several factories and dealerships in this country, General Motors took billions of taxpayer dollars from Obama and built 14 manufacturing plants in The People’s Republic of China. Make an ad Willard!

1. He is NOT a lib. He is a center-right Republican.

2. To get his money he had to be very smart.

3. I am always amazed that people do not understand that part of a campaign’s success lies in knowing when an attack will be most effective. Otherwise, money is wasted and you have tipped your hand to your opponent.

Thanks very much.

Exactly, I read where his number should be that of an 80 or 90 years old person no where near him at all.

Just another lie fabricated by the regime to cover who this clown really is.
